Dunno, yet. Whatever it is, I'll do it tomorrow (Sunday), and enjoy leftovers on Monday. Some things have been a bit hectic, lately, so I decided to keep the long weekend free, and follow any little whim-of-adventure that comes along. So far, no whims. I'm sorta glad. Remember, on Memorial Day. Add Edit: Decided on a small pot roast, called a "chuck roll." I only discovered them recently ... wasn't familiar with that name. And, I've only seen them in one store, near me. It's the perfect size for a couple of meals, without getting tired of it.

Yesterday we had Parmesan stuffed chicken breasts (Barber's) and roasted baby vegetables. Today we're having Stouffers meatloaf and Bob Evans mashed potatoes. I cook the meatloaf in the oven but I use the microwave for the mashed potatoes. I don't count any of this as "cooking", just heating things up in the oven and microwave. Have a nice weekend.

I'm not planning on making anything special. I did, however, splurge on some pastries the other day (figure I can use the extra carbs since I'm doing tons of yard work lately). I got a really nice almond-coated bear claw, a crispy-edged apple fritter, and two old-fashioned doughnuts. Sugar high, here we come. lol

www.kusc.org/radio/programs/memorial-day/KUSC will mark this Mondayβs Memorial Day holiday with music every hour honoring those who served, including pieces by composers who died in battle (George Butterworth), works written as memorials (Le Tombeau de Couperin), as well as soundtrack music from such films as Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and A Bridge Too Far.
