I'm all in. I haven't cared about Wrestling in so long, I'm going to give this a go.

Double or nothing was a massive failure. It's basically TNA when Hogan showed up but people care even less. Nobody bought the PPV and JR put no effort into it. Plus the top star Jericho was out of shape. And the big surprise of Moxley was predictable and garnered no buzz.

Everything posted online about it says it was a success and WWE is in trouble.

ever not 'get' somebody? I enjoyed 'The Shield' when they first broke on the scene. Dean Ambrose is more cringe-worthy than X-Pac I mean - I can appreciate the quasi Piper/Pillman gimmick - but he's just - well - a giant Dork. I don't get it That being said I'll be tuning in and can't wait for Steiner, Sting, Hall & Nash to appear

as far as Jericho not being in shape - when was the last time he was in shape?
At least he's gone back to long tights and long hair - not the pudgy dad look he had a few years back with short hair and looked like a chubby sausage squeezing in speedos
Jericho IS WRESTLING.

I watched it and enjoyed it immensely. I can see why so many the independent wrestling scene has grown so popular over the past decade or so. I may not have know who most of the wrestlers were, but they put on more of a show than I've seen from WWE in a long, long time. The crowd seemed really into it and there was no bad match. JR is the best commentator ever, now if they can just drag Tony Schiavone away from the gig he had now and we'll truly have a legendary super team. I never thought I would watch wrestling again after I gave up on WWE for good five or six years ago, but I'm on board for this. The tv show on TNT will be the true test to see if this has any staying power, I look forward to it.

I need to this during the 1st segment on TNT: The last thing a new promotion like this needs is the toxicity and broken down bodies of Hall and Nash.

Hogan is no better. Those three all had their day and then some, it's time to actually build up a new generation properly. I understand the need for veteran presence, hence why AEW has guys like Dustin and Jericho, but that needs to be limited to guys who won't blow their knee in a single match.

I'm excited for it to get to television. It was so nice to see blood in wrestling again. I REALLY hope they're successful because it'll be nice to have options on weekly TV that isn't TNA or ROH. WWE needs the competition too because otherwise they're just left with doing whatever Vince wants them to do.

I watched the promotional documentary 'AEW : Before The Bell' which was hosted by Cody Rhodes. Great to see Chris Jericho's new training regime.
"I left WWE and went to Japan, Mox left and came to AEW. Look at what happens when a guy that was treading water in WWE, was in a creative slump, shows up in 10 seconds and becomes the hottest guy in the business. At the end of Double or Nothing, everyone was talking about Moxley, everyone was talking about Dustin Rhodes. That's why it is good to have an alternative because it is a good opportunity to go and revitalize your career, in one night, in one minute. That's what happened to both of those guys."
- Chris Jericho, Wrestling Inc.
