I think the story of how Star Wars came to be is a story worth telling, but what does everyone else think?

Only if helmed by Ron Howard.

It would be more entertaining than any Zuckerberg or Jobs movie, if done right.

Really struggling to think of any actor who could pull that shaved short beard / fat neck combo off?
Maybe Tom Hanks? He's certainly got the neck but then I wouldn't watch it due to my personal boycott of all Tom Hanks related material...

Never watched anything with Tom Hanks in it since walking out of Saving Private Ryan (the only film I've ever walked out of in a cinema). It made me feel ill in a manner which was only matched watching Mamma Mia, which I would also have walked out of had the option been available to me.

No, but I would watch the Special Edition with Imperial Walkers CGI'd into the background of the USC scenes while we watch collegiate George shrugging along indifferently and the pit droids from Phantom Menace working the camera during production on the original '77 Star Wars.
