I'm not seeing it anytime soon. I mean, what's the quintessential Christian Slater performance would we say? True Romance? He struck me as one of those guys that never really rose above 'adequate'.

He was good in a substantial part in last year's film "The Wife." I think he is doing OK. You don't have to be in the $20 million per film bracket to have a successful career. Working steadily in supporting roles is fine for many actors. There are only a certain number of slots at the top. Only a few reach them.
