There are three types of men:
The dog-like are satisfied with bones, table scraps, carrion and defilement.
These do not satisfy the lion-like, who crave to control and to dominate people, either by truth or by lies.
But the angelic are above this. They direct their wills towards the Sublime Companion. They aspire to knowledge, faith and love of God. They turn towards Him, find peace and tranquility in Him, place His love and good pleasure above all else.

Also the fish-like men, bespectacled , meek and mild-mannered, who helped the Navy win WWII.

All I know personally about Jacques Cousteau, is he was an atheist.

I never understood these kinds of people who always got to dominate/control people. basically the types who want control. it makes no sense to me but then again these kinds usually tend to be corrupt, if not evil, types of people.
but those who crave control/domination over people I kind of assume would default more to the lie type of person as those who are honestly trying to go the truth route would know you can't force people into accepting something. you can present the truth to them, but it's up to them whether they will accept it or reject it, since we all have free will. truth does not really need to be forced on someone where as a lie does etc.

I like this. Would you say this can apply to women as well?

Silly comparison. Lions just do what they do, eat what they want, get rid of rivals for their territory. They don't know what "control is". Cats just do what they do. They're opportunists, yes. Wanting the most pleasurable and pain free life. That isn't "control".
Not sure what animal would be a "'control freak" over dominating others. It isn't the dog or cat. Probably no mammal aside from humans who refuse to fight demons off. Demons may rarely go to dogs or cats, but not often.

If I were doing this thread I would have called them the reptilian type.

my idea of modern art consists of slathering manischewitz colored mayonnaise over a laser cut out of hercules draped around a sofa-sized slightly used replica of the cabinet vault that the declaration of independence is displayed in there in washington.
using nothing but my hands to work the ooze into every sinew and muscle.
of course this would represent the hustle involved in getting the semi nude workmen to hold the thing just right before it rolls off into a night no one can afford to remember.
sjw 06/04/19 inspired at this very moment in time by the movers and the quakers and those ever present misogyny makers.

man, n. An animal so lost in rapturous contemplation of which he thinks he is as to overlook what he indubitably ought to be. His chief occupation is the extermination of other animals and his own species, which, however, multiplies with such insistent rapidity as to infest the whole inhabitable earth and Canada. -Ambrose Bierce

Why are two compared to animals but not the last which is compared to something superior to humans?
