Dennis Carson: You'll let those curtains down if its the last bath you'll ever take! For good measure, Harlow repeated the scene - as fictional Lola Burns, supposedly doing retakes on Red Dust - in Bombshell (1933): Sans Gable, and with Pat O'Brien playing director of said retakes. Omigosh, how right you are! Thanks, thanks and more thanks. And it explains how it got past the Breen office: didn't exist yet!

Its a pre-code wonder β¦ Further on with that milk bath scene Empress Poppea orders all others to leave calling only upon her lovely handmaiden Dacia. Poppaea: "Dacia, you're a butterfly with the sting of a wasp. Take off your clothes. Get in here and tell me all about it." The camera moves to Dacia's discarded outfit at her ankles then pans to (pic below), closing the scene...

The bathtub scene from the movie Room in Rome (2010) was pretty memorable, I thought. As was this one with Margot Robbie from The Big Short (2015).

Charade - Herman Scobie (George Kennedy), drowned in a hotel bathtub, in Paris. Ned Glass says: "He really doesn't look too bad. Maybe we could dry him off, and put him in bed." (Apologies that on the 2.0 board, I can't successfully copy photo images. If anyone can offer a tutorial, I'd try to master it. It was a snap on the old board.)

Les Biches (1968) Claude Chabrol. Jacqueline Sassard picked up off the streets is lavished with attentions from her new friend Frederique (StΓ©phane Audran) as she relaxes in the bath... That^ shot reminds me of a similar one involving actress Sophia Myles as Miss Penelope in the 2004 movie Thunderbirds.
