Of something your innocent of. Yeah. And did they end up in your 'backyard'?

And did they end up in your 'backyard'? No, I was still a school kid at the time. 10 or under. Some kids accused me of wrecking something, even though I'd never been to their place. Their father came around and made the mistake of verbally attacking me in front of Dad. He put him in his place.

I was accused of shoplifting by the manager of a Safeway. It was very awkward. I had an appointment and they called me to come in early even though I had planned to walk somewhere else so I went to the appointment--then went for the walk-bought something at a store-then when I was coming home I went to Safeway to buy potato chips and I have a habit of loitering around the outside before I go home (it's an OCD thing). Well I was standing outside and the manager was there-looking bored-and he noticed I had a shopping bag from the other store and for some reason he said: did you buy something from Safeway and not pay for it? And I said: no. He asked where my bill was-and I said I put it in the garbage can outside the store. And he said-why do you have bags from another store? And I said because I went there first...(although I was getting flustered at this point and I think I said it backwards) so he said: let's see your bill. I then walked over to the can (as I did he said "sir" so I suspect he thought I was going to run away or something). I reached into the garbage, got the bill and showed him. And then I said I sometimes stand around outside before I go home and he said: "oh I do weird shit myself." Now, it was lucky I found the bill because if I had not then we would have probably gone into the store and talked to the cashier. It would have been embarrassing. Later I was talking to a cashier and mentioned I had been accused of shoplifting. She couldn't believe it since I was always around there. A few weeks later though I was at Safeway and the manager came up to me from behind and my shoulders slumped-here we go again... and instead he gave me some coupon for something-saying I was "one of their best customers." So what happened? Did he feel guilty? Odd. Yes! He felt guilty. You ever get a coupon from a manager for no reason and told you're "one of their best customers" before? He knew he was wrong.

And did they end up in your 'backyard'? Oh, Rachel! You don't know the outback bag of worms you're digging into!

At the time, he was an ex-drover, ex-soldier and ex-cop, so he was a fairly capable individual. This is him, circa 1964.

No, I came along about 4 years later in 1968. This was their wedding day. Mum's about 28 and Dad's about 44. Father Dunn was a close friend to Dad, so he performed the ceremony.

Yeah, in summer camp when we were at an aquarium in Miami, a boy had accused me of spilling his drink on the table. My hands weren't even on the table. I was too busy looking at a map that I got from that aquarium.

Cuccillo : [Looking at dead body] Who did it? El Indio : Why don't you look at the knife. Cuccillo : ...it's mine. El Indio : And it shouldn't be there, should it?
