Stan Lee is also the executive producer of Daredevil, Elektra, Hulk 2003, and Fant4stic. Just because Stan Lee's name is on it, doesn't mean it's good. And you can add Dark Phoenix to that list, just terrible. It sucks when Hollywood doesn't get Stan Lee's creations right. We want these movies to be good and like the comics, but sometimes that's not always the case. I don’t see how you can put Dark Phoenix up there with Elektra, Hulk, and Fant4stic. Are you saying we should put Dark Phoenix up there with Winter Soldier, Infinity War, Endgame, and Into the Spider-Verse? I'm not ridiculing you if you think that. You if think, that's great, glad you found enjoyment in Dark Phoenix.

Apparently that Aliata film is being blamed for it. Why do MCU fans hate Dark Phoenix? Stan Lee was an executive producer on Dark Phoenix. Don't be more stupid than you already are, the vast majority of people hate this movie, it has the lowest cinemascore out of any X-Men movie. Also almost no one cared about the movie enough to go see it

First Class is the second lowest cinemascore with a B+ but its not hated by the vast majority of people. So I don’t think that reasoning works very well at all. Also, you’re overlooking the fact that pretty all the summer movies have been underperforming except Aladdin. Its a competitive season and these movies are cannibalizing each other.

Because Dark Phoenix had good effects and action. What does Origins have? This:

Fox studios and James Cameron sabotaged it. Keep blaming Disney, though. It'll make the X-Men movies better in your mind.

This thread is about Dark Phoenix. How is it off-topic to mention the producer of Dark Phoenix? If there was a thread about Titanic, am I not allowed to mention James Cameron?

Box Office: 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' Plunges Record 83% On FridayDark Phoenix followed up lousy reviews and a lousy opening weekend with a near-record free fall. It earned just $2.348 million on its second Friday, down 83.2% from a $14 million opening day. That's a bigger drop than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (-81%) and the biggest such drop for a "big" comic book superhero movie in history.

+1 for Kinberg. He delivered what he promised. And yes, dollar amount does matter when it comes to the definition of blockbuster. 0:10 So Deadpool isn't considered a blockbuster?

Because Stan Lee had nothing to do with Dark Phoenix He's credited as the executive producer of Dark Phoenix. Does not mean he actually contributed to its development, other than serving as the co-creator of the concept.

Nah this always seemed like it was going to flop. Who was ever really interested in the first place? It was just the same old thing as before, following a movie that people weren't even that fond of. Jean is not a villain in the movie. The worse she does is accidentally kills Mystique.
The marketing was extremely misleading.
