I agree the last quiz question # 9. was a bit tricky
and I had to study that one also before I put my answer in - crazy looking doodles indeed .
Thanks so much for your reply .

Too quick on the button on one, and one show I have never seen.

Totally agree and I actually had to study that last one for a minute or two before I placed my answer
and if it wasn't for the living room background
I most likely would have got that one wrong .
Sorry you missed out on that last question there .
Thanks so much for your reply .

No need to sweat it here either
I have done the same things on many
of these quizzes here in the past , present ,
and most likely will on others in the future too .
Thanks so much for your reply .

Are you doing anything special for tomorrow also Jay ? thanks mszanadu I hope you enjoy your TZ marathon! I know you will especially when you are picking out your own episodes in this marathon. Sorry about the decades thing though. I was curious what you’d be cooking. I always like to hear about food The homemade bean pasta salad does sound very appetizing. As for me I have a bbq at my parents house tomorrow. So again there goes my healthy diet! But just like thanksgiving it’s just one of those times to throw caution to the wind. Other than that probably relaxing for the weekend. Friday there’s a really good band playing at the bar and they crank out all the 80’s pop and new wave songs of the past so that will be a great way to celebrate this festive weekend as well.

As for the DECADES Channel thing
I'm definitely not going to sweat here either
when I have my wonderful TZ DVD Collection available
and it's why I purchased it years ago in the first place
( it's meant to be watched right ? ) .
The bean and pasta salad is so very easy to make
( and as a last minute idea suggestion if you decide to want to make
something for your parents BBQ Gathering ? ) .
It only consists of - Elbow Macaroni Pasta
( I cook for 30 minutes about a 1 cup and a 1/2 - then cold water rinsed in a strainer ) ,
steam cooked on the stove - store brand prepared shredded carrots
( about 1 cup cooked for 20 minutes ) ,
2 cans beans of choice ( either - pintos , kidney , black beans , chickpeas , or black eyed peas )
( this time around for me chickpeas & black eyed peas -
uncooked just drained & cold water rinsed in a strainer ) , and a homemade dressing of choice
( in my case one of my favorites from my vegan cookbooks -
this time - Sweet and Smokey Vinaigrette ) .
Of course to make it even easier
a simple bottle of your favorite store bought dressing will work too -
as a suggestion Italian Dressing goes with everything usually .
Your plans seem very solid and a lot of fun for the whole weekend also
so enjoy my fellow forum friend - good times & great memories too !!

Thanks for the recipe mszanadu. If I'm feeling brave one of these days maybe I will give it a shot It's rare that I even attempt to cook anymore. Boy did I eat a lot on Thursday! turkey burgers, hot dogs, barley, cake. I felt like I was 9 months pregnant after that meal. I hope you enjoyed your marathon and all. Oh and I've been meaning to ask you about an episode. I hope I haven't asked you this before because not only would I feel like an idiot, but scared about my lack of memory on the things I've posted here before. I'm positive I probably tell the same bad jokes over and over again without even realizing it. I apologize for that too. In fact, I may have said this very thing in the past and don't recall that either. Ok now I'm starting to scare myself too much so I will stop What is your opinion on the episode "person or persons unknown"? Do you feel it's just an average episode or does it stand out for you? And what do you think of the ending to that and how did you interpret it? Thanks in advance!

You're most welcome Jay and like I mentioned here
this pasta salad is really easy to make .
Besides the canned beans you can even add other proteins to this also
like in your case it could be - precooked from the grocery store chicken strips , beef strips ,
or even seafood from the deli like precooked shrimp as a suggestion too - it's all good .
It seems like you had a really fun time at your parents BBQ
a great visit with the fam and some quality food to indulge with also
now that's a memorable July 4th indeed there .
Actually to my recollection I don't think you ever asked me
Also even if you have it's never a problem for me
for someone I chat with here to repeat certain things like this because
the re-mentioning for me is most definitely a most helpful " mind refresher " too so no worries or apologies my fellow forum friend .
As for this TZ episode " Person or Persons Unknown "
IMPO - the very first time I watched it I was in my early teens
and I was blown away at all the crazy unfolding twist and turns
to this most unique storyline for that time too .
Also ( IMPO ) the ending for me said it best in volumes -
Poor David Gurney what's he going to do about this new situation now ??
Although on the up side of that situation ( and not that I'm superficial with this either but ... ) overall I actually liked his new wife Wilma # 2. way better than original wife Wilma # 1.
she was much prettier and had a way better disposition on things also
so I believe he was better off just starting over with a new existence ( unless it changes again while he sleeps
but if it doesn't he should just make the best of it anyway ? ) .
I'm actually still quite impressed with this episode
after all these years and I still watch it
on occasion via the TZ DVD Collection as well .
IMPO - Actor Richard Long was the perfect choice for the lead in this episode too .
I only hope my answers here were a bit helpful about this memorable episode ?
Just curious here now too - what did you think of this TZ episode " Person or Persons Unknown " ?
Thanks so much again Jay for your reply .
