When Cap and Iron Man re-united in Endgame DC-Fan probably saw some man-on-man anal action. He's bit twisted/sheltered bless him.

If you've never banged anyone, you might not know the difference. j/s Careful Death Man or DC-Fan may call you out on the fact you clearly do not understand what banging is, he wont clarify for you what it in fact is, he will simply repeatedly tell you and anyone who does not believe that Cap banged Sharon in CW.
Anyone surprised DC-Fan hasn't ran with this notion yet? I mean this is primo nonsense for his anti-cap vitriol, I mean think about it what sort of role model is Captain America Steve Rogers? Not only he engage in a public banging where anyone could see, he did so infront of his two friends what sat in their car with perverse grins and nodding approval at him whilst he did so, Cap purposely turned a respected agent of the US government into a voyeuristic sex object for his deviant friends, and worse than that he did so in a PG-13 movie, KIDS WERE WATCHING THIS!!! Steve Rogers should be ashamed of himself, what sort of example is he setting for the children of America?...derp derp derp
LOL! His understanding of the term may explain why his posts read like someone with severe head trauma wrote them. They are repetitive, combative, and nonsensical.

Yes and no. Sharon is not a relative of Steve's in the prime timeline, when he went back to Peggy after WWII in Endgame he created a new and different one, in that one Sharon may or may not exist. Or! The MCU we have been watching is not the prime timeline and Steve already went back in time and married Peggy. Creating a time loop of Steves going back in time to marry Peggy then wait on the young Steve to go back in time to marry Peggy so he can give Sam the shield. Possible! Both the Russos and the screenwriters have slightly different views on it, time will tell what it really means though.

Traditionally in the comics, Steve Rogers is a virgin. This is reason he is able to use Thor’s Hammer. I don’t know if this overtly stated in the movies or not. Good stuff. Not sure of this was a joke-joke or a 'wonder if anyone will believe this' joke, but it was amusing either way.

The comics in general are so fucking odd though it's not that outside the realm of impossibility, I mean at this point Spider-Man has been revealed to have radioactive spunk in one iteration, is the actual son of Aunt May, Tony Stark is actually the adopted son of a shield agent, Thor has been lusted after by one of his granddaughters, Wanda & Pietro have been incestuous, mutant then not mutants were they retconned out of being biological siblings at one point? and Magneto removed as their father? Ant-Man bit Blobs head off, they made Carol Danvers fall in love with the child she had by being mind raped or something which turned out to also be the being she gave birth to...comics man they are weird as fuck.

Good stuff. Not sure of this was a joke-joke or a 'wonder if anyone will believe this' joke, but it was amusing either way. Nope. This is in original comic book narrative. If you notice, the movies never show Rogers in a romantic situation that involves sex. Captain America is “pure of heart” and when this character was created...in the days before birth control...an honorable man would not put a woman he loves in jeopardy of getting pregnant that didn’t involve matrimony. Rogers only loves one woman. I know this sounds fucked up according to today’s mores, but Rogers was born in 1918. He's had several girlfriends in the comics. The movies never show anyone other than Tony in situations involving sex. Are they all virgins?

He's had several girlfriends in the comics. The movies never show anyone other than Tony in situations involving sex. Are they all virgins? As I said above, Rogers is from a different era. And no the others aren’t virgins, however none of them could lift Thor’s Hammer either. When the Avengers make a play to lift it, they can’t. Neither can Rogers, but there is a wry smile on his face indicating he’s faking it. Per Chris Evans: That’s when the topic of Captain America’s virginity came up. Evans was not directly asked but decided to answer it anyway. “A love interest?” EW asked. “It’s funny when you think about it — he’s probably a virgin,” Evans said with a laugh. “He’s probably a virgin! I don’t know when it would’ve happened.” www.hypable.com/captain-america-virgin/
Is there anything wrong with someone being a virgin? There's been a theory he was faking it since AoU came out, Endgame confirmed it. Whether or not he's a virgin isn't of interest to me, but his alleged virginity can't be the reason he lifts the hammer if it isn't a stipulation for Thor. It's a goofy take on things, but you're welcome to it.

I don't buy the he was faking it thing, I prefer the theory that his keeping what happened to the Starks from Tony is what prevented him from lifting it, he is otherwise a virtuous person but that one sin keeps him from being worthy either in reality or just in his mind, which is why by Endgame he can wield it because he no longer has the burden of that lie on his soul anymore, him almost being worthy is why he can make it budge a little though.
Also I don't think it would be possible for cap to be faking it, not the way they show it, atleast.

To me, you're either worthy or you aren't. You can't budge it a little because you're mostly worthy except for this one secret you're keeping. I never had a serious problem with that theory, though. Was it the Russos or Marcus & McFeely that 'confirmed' the 'he was always worthy' theory? At least, that was their interpretation. I wonder what Whedon has to say on the subject? Either way the last thing I was considering was Steve's virginity, lol.

It's just inconsistent and bad writing (like the huge time travel plothole in Endgame). And no, Rogers isn't "worthy". No one who aids and abets a double-murderer to escape from the law can ever be considered worthy. Hela was able to hold up Thor's hammer so being "worthy" has nothing to do with being able to lift Thor's hammer.

I agree. The movies have changed up a lot from the original narratives, as have frankly the comics themselves. I get it, they have up-date the characters for changing times and different moralities...and to attract new readers/audiences. But the question is Steve’s love life and I answered it based on literary analysis of the classic CA narrative. Rogers was created in the 1940s, in part, as a model of an honorable American male that includes a brave, trustworthy soldier and Boy Scout. Read the original Boy Scout code. That’s his particular honor code that he lives by and he will not betray it, even if it means sublimating his own physical desires. It’s not a code he imposes on others, but only to himself. Therefore, he’s pure in mind, body, and spirit. That’s what gives him the power of the Hammer, because it senses this. Whether the Disney version of him is virgin, I don’t. I’m just picking up on clues in the current, cinematic storyline. Perhaps he isn’t. Anyone who’s read the original comics, as I have when I was a kid, can see them. When in the final scenes were CA does use the Hammer, the movie audience I was in literally gasped. And I thought finally. Thing is, the comics have changed over the years as well. The Steve from the 40s or the 60s isn't the same Steve I read in the 80s-90s, which isn't the Steve of today. You're insisting Disney fundamentally changed the character when in reality he's evolved on the page over the decades long before TFA hit the screen. To me it's zany to come to the conclusion the hammer cares about his virginity over his valor and virtue. Dr. Erskine told him to remain not only a good soldier, but a good man. He didn't say, "And only love one woman your whole life. It's ok if you kiss her niece, though." Mjolnir doesn't judge virtue by how long a guy obsesses over a relationship that was never consummated; it judges your righteousness as a being-- its concern is how you would use the power you wield. I read the comics as a kid and I don't share your viewpoint. I've explained what the story suggests to me already, and it's based on what's been shown and said onscreen as opposed to hypothetical arguments based on Cap's virginity.

I've explained what the story suggests to me already, and it's based on what's been shown and said onscreen as opposed to hypothetical arguments based on Cap's virginity. As I’ve said above, this has nothing to do with virginity per se, but Steve’s personal code he lives out daily. However, if you want him to not be a virgin, that’s fine. Again, I’m doing literary and cultural analysis here based on the OP’s question. I tend to think deeper on this stuff than the average viewer because I’m trained in it. I’m also not literary snob. I think pop-culture like comics play an very important part in how to understand society, both past and present. Marvel has done an excellent job in carrying this cinematic storyline (at least for Avenger Universe) through. Blockbuster movies often reflect society’s wants and fears. This is just my opinion. You are entitled to yours. Thanks for the input. Plenty of us 'think deeper on this stuff.' What's the point of reading, viewing, consuming art if it doesn't make you think? My only issue with your opinion is that you present it as fact. Your initial post in this thread was full of inaccuracies regarding the character and the topic. It's not overtly stated anywhere, your entire premise is flawed. You've come to the conclusion that I "don't want" Cap to be a virgin; I'm simply pointing out how unlikely that is in the comics, and more to the point, how irrelevant a character's celibacy is to Mjolnir. Cultural analysis of changing social mores suggests Cap, while continuing to embody certain values, has a slightly different concept of personal morality compared to a guy from the 1940s who was depicted punching bucktoothed and fanged Asian characters. Society has changed, so the character has come to mean something different to society. He's the same man, but altered to fit the times. (Just like any other comic book character, it's only amplified in Steve's case due to the jingoistic nature of the character.) Thank you for finally admitting this is your opinion as opposed to some obvious subtheme that everyone should be picking up on. Your literary analysis seems caught in a bygone era, as if you're only analyzing Cap comics that are over 50 years old.

And yes it does it's said so in the movies, given all the time you bitch about this not being in the movie and that not being in the movie THIS is in fact in the movies, and once again look up the definition of the word murder it does not apply to Bucky, he was brainwashed as in he had no agency which means he cannot be considered a murderer, he was in effect a murder weapon wielded by Alexander Pierce, also Cap didn't help Bucky until after AOU so given how one could and couldn't be deemed worthy dependent on circumstances it's not a you are or you are not for all of time case closed.
But going back to my original point, STFU you twit.

When in the final scenes were CA does use the Hammer, the movie audience I was in literally gasped. And I thought finally. I agree I think MCU Cap probably could be, imo if he was when he was turned into Cap he still is to this day, as for all his flaws Cap's loyalty to his feelings seem pretty unshakeable, which is why despite being Tony's friend he does lie and to a degree betray him to protect Bucky, and as he still held a torch for Peggy so strong I don't see him giving it up for just a random hook up, also then the only other character he is interested in is Sharon and I cannot see Steve hooking up with her to just go and dump her for Peggy, and seeing as they never said that he and Sharon hooked up let alone hooked up and then broke up I assume it's just an unrequited romance thing in the MCU.
Just the initial wording made me sceptical, as you made it sound like Cap could lift the hammer because he was a virgin, but I get what you mean the moral code Cap lives by and the strength of character for him to adhere to those principals even in the modern world where random hook ups isn't just not vilified but are actually encouraged a lot, and that strength of character being why he is considered worthy makes sense.
Also the idea that it's not a clear rule as to what is and is not worthy behaviour, for Thor a norse god, well screwing and killing is perfectly acceptable behaviour, but to Cap it wouldn't be, though I imagine there is some underlying baseline they must adhere to, like loyalty, honor and selflessness.

Yeah, it's highly unlikely that being a virgin factors in the equation of being able to lift Mjölnir otherwise the following wouldn't make any sense:

LOL remember when you made this argument, got owned, went and made a thread about it in another forum, and literally no one there agreed with you either and the thread got moved back here? That was funny.
You keep making these stupid arguments on a variety of subjects and no more than 1 out of 20 people ever agree with you. You're always wrong, and you're not nearly as smart as you think you are.

To be fair if he thought he was merely the intellectual equal of a lobotomised goldfish swimming in a tank of pure vodka that kept repeatedly ramming it's head into the side of the tank endlessly, well he would still not be nearly as smart as he thinks he is.

Are we seriously meant to believe that a guy like that didn't do the no pants dance with anyone? If I was Mjolnir, I wouldn't allow myself to be lifted by such a dweeb.I think it's actually very likely he didn't. He shows zero interest in personal relationships. He's an uncomfortable guy. He never really gets over being a man from another era. Even his down time is spent working (with the veteran groups). He's not comfortable doing friend things.

You never know. He seems like thee type who doesn't have performance anxiety. He still held out for a woman who was dead, so I just assume with the wrong woman he'd be a dead fish but with the right woman, the man's a tiger.
