If you could only choose two movies from each of these categories which would you choose? These are the only cbm's you'd ever be allowed to watch ever again. I broke it up into the shared universes (MCU, DCEU, XCU) and general cbm's outside of the shared universes.
Also I would understand if you wanted to include Infinity War/Endgame as one movie. It's the only cbms that I could think of that would fit that criteria.
Marvel - Spider-Man 2
- Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse
MCU - Guardians of the Galaxy - Infinity War/Endgame
DC - Batman Returns
- The Dark Knight
DCEU - Wonder Woman - Shazam!
XCU - Days of Future Past
- Deadpool
The most difficult ones to live without would be Iron Man and Batman Begins for me. It was easier to choose GOTG over Iron Man just because I feel like we get our Tony Stark fix in Infinity War/Endgame. But The Dark Knight over Begins was tough for me because it's probably the best origin story ever.

Can you swap picks in one category for more in another, like give up one from the DCEU to have 3 from the MCU for example?

Good question! I prefer everyone stick to two for each just because someone could come in here and just pick 10 DC movies or 10 MCU movies which would kind of defeat the purpose. I'm curious to see what people would choose even if they don't like the entire MCU or any DC films.
I decided to count Infinity War and Endgame as one though so hopefully that's helpful.

Yeah I feel like people would just end up picking their top 10 Marvel films or top 10 DC films and there are plenty of threads for that. This way just keeps it equal and gets people having to really think about it. |

Also, I love Galaxy Quest. Such a good movie.

Never saw The Phantom, I guess CA1 is my cheesiest choice. Looking over my list, it pretty much covers all of my favorites. The Phantom is intentionally cheesy, but it works for me. It's mostly the villains who are cheeseballs, Billy Zane plays the main character earnestly. It's like Indiana Jones as a costumed superhero.
