Maybe because it's still fresh in my memory, I'm going with Rogue One on this one. It felt like something different while not being completely foreign. Definitely interested in seeing what the original version was like given all the footage from the trailers that didn't make it into the movie.

The prequels are dire Return Of The Jedi gets worse with each viewing (first half less so) Force Awakens is decent enough (especially the first half) Rogue One for the win (I might even rank it over Star Wars)

It's gotta be Jedi. As much as I enjoy The Force Awakens and Rogue One, nothing beats the original trilogy for me.

eh, Revenge of the Sith, hands down - only time Star Wars comes close to having a resemblance of deepness with it's dystopian downfall motive; and I love dark endings.
Rogue One comes close second, but not as creative and original as Ep3, yet still a great addition.
Farce Awakens is pure rehashed fanfiction garbage, a stain soiling Star Wars' best underear forever (ie the OT), shame, shame shame!

"Return of the Jedi" undoubtedly! It was thoroughly entertaining and still enjoyable even today despite its flaws. It concludes the OT very nicely. I find it hilarious when people thrash ROTJ by calling it childish and then go on to praise TFA. LOL!
"Revenge of the Sith" would be a close second.

Why is no one choosing Attack of the Clones? That was a pure cinematic masterpiece.

Return of the Jedi, it was the ending to the original trilogy for a lot of us.

Gotta go "Jedi." I was a child of the 80s and probably have a soft spot for it. During the three-tiered climax, I remember fast forwarding to the space battle segments. Endor was a little dull. Those model effects in the battle at the Death Star are ridiculously convincing.
Plus, while I did kind of like Ep 2 and 3, I don't think the music ever got better than it was in the original trilogy. ROTJ had some great moments in its score. I love particularly that they do Vader's introduction and then later, while it seems like it could be a recycled scene in places, they beef it up for the Emperor's shuttle landing. John Williams...killing it as usual!

Once again everyone is wearing the nostalgia googles. ROTS is the best SW film outside of 1977 or 80.

The one they saw in XMEN: Apocalypse and had the nerve to make fun of.
