It was alright but the filmmakers seemingly can't find a balance between monster action and human elements.

I left satisfied but yet I got tons of mixed feelings on the characters. I really liked Watanabe, Chandler, Brown, and Fermiga. They kept me interested. Aisha Hinds and Bradley Whitford had some funny lines but O'Shea Jackson was wasted.
Charles Dance is built up but then his subplot is left open. So I reckon that'll be dealt with in Godzilla vs. Kong? Is he gonna clone Doomsday to make them team up or something? I was really irked that they killed off Sally Hawkins so abruptly. And I swear to god, they were shipping Chandler with the Asian chick but gave up halfway through;remember that odd shot of their hands clasping during takeoff? Still, I think I liked the characters in the Emmerich Godzilla better;certainly Jean Reno and Hank Azaria.

Sort of wish Reno would crossover and Agree about Dance he was sort of forgotten as well.

Now my dream crossover would had been Reno teaming up with Roland Tembo (Postlethwhaite) from The Lost World: Jurassic Park. A French secret agent teaming up with a great white hunter to fight giant reptilian monsters? Sign me up!

Was I only one who didn't care for the humor? Seemed awkward and clunky as well.

1/10 (could've been 0) Was I only one who didn't care for the humor? Seemed awkward and clunky as well. It was painful! Especially "Oh my God!" "...zilla."
