Possibly. I think Toby Maguire was the most accurate to the original Peter Parker and the most likable.
But he was the weakest Spider-Man.

I prefer Tobey McGuire. He perfectly captured Peter Parker and his portrayal of Spider-Man was fairly accurate to the Earth-616 version. Garfield and Holland really take from the Ultimate Spider-Man and they both did really well with their portrayals, although I think Garfield was the weakest Peter Parker of the three.

Maguire was my favourite. Holland is close though. And Garfield isn’t bad either.

Toby McGuire captured the nerdiness and awkwardness of Peter Parker, but at times he seemed too dorky. Too much of a loser. Spiderman (even Parker) has a subtle steeliness/badassery to him that I feel McGuire didn't convey properly.
Garfield was able to convey that badassery but not the nerdy awkwardness of Parker. He was too cool. His humor also seemed too snarky, almost mean at times. His Spiderman was pretty good, better than McGuire's, but he was definitely the worst Peter Parker.
Tom Holland is the best of both worlds. He's able to portray Parker's nerdy awkwardness without looking too dorky, his humor is spot on for what I imagined Spiderman, and he conveys his character with a subtle strength that makes you believe that you can't just walk all over him (unlike the feeling I got with McGuire).

Tom Holland, hands down! He's the most comics accurate Spider-Man to date. Even down to his appearance. He looks like Peter Parker. Leave it to the MCU to get Peter Parker/Spider-Man just right.

I think he also has a lot of ad-libs in his films. And I think we already know how ‘Onward’ is going to end. Hee hee hee...

Holland is High School Peter. Maguire was college Peter.
There is room for both. I enjoyed Maguire as the one he played.

Leave it to the MCU to get Peter Parker/Spider-Man just right. Leave it to MCU to fuck it all up and give the world the worst Peter Parker / Spider-Man ever. "Mr Stark, what do I do now?"

None of them are like the comics character. The comics character is closer to a Robert Walker Jr in the Ditko era and a James MacArthur type in the Romita years.
Nicholas Hammond was more comics-approved than Maguire and co.

Tobey’s the best Parker but just an okay Spider-Man.
Garfield’s a great Spider-Man but an awful Parker.
Tom Holland is the best of both worlds. He has both Parker and Spider-Man down.

Leave it to the MCU to get Peter Parker/Spider-Man just right. Leave it to MCU to fuck it all up and give the world the worst Peter Parker / Spider-Man ever. What are you talking about? According to this link of yours, Spiderman Homecoming is among the top ten best superhero movie of all times! That's way better that the other five SM movies, at #24, 29, 49, 65, (off the chart bad). And no doubt Spiderman Far From Home will swing into your list somewhere in the top 10-20. That is total domination by the MCU Spiderman movies, just like Tom Holland totally dominates the best Spiderman polls. So, all you are left with is your own personal opinion. The same personal opinion that said BvS and Justice league are among the greatest superhero movies ever made. Oh brother! ... That's still funny!

I mean, you don't see Garfield or McGuire doing this:
Just further proof the Tom Holland is the best fit for Spiderman we've had so far.

I watched the pilot of the 1977 Spider-man tv show and without a doubt Hammond was the best actor chosen for the role--he looked exactly like the standard Romita-Andru Peter Parker. If he had been 17 he might have been an ok Ditko Peter as well. His hairstyle was wrong and he lacked the neurosis-depression but he is closer than Maguire--Garfield--Holland.

Anyone who sincerely thinks Homecoming is a good movie has bad taste in movies. Also Tom Holland sucks as Peter Parker.
