Here's something to ruin your day. It's science, but isn't the usual and comfortable science on your terms. Enjoy.

Here's something to ruin your day. Nobody worships science. No, it's pseudo-science throwing out word-salad 'explanations' for effects that haven't even been shown to exist. And pretending that 'they', whomever 'they' might be, don't want you to know stuff that is not, in fact, knowledge at all. Poor try, even by your usual low standards.

Here's something to ruin your day. On the contrary, the "stuff we still don't understand" is what makes science interesting. Imagine how boring the world would be if there was nothing left to learn.

Yeah, that's the way I feel about it too. Have you ever experienced anything that couldn't be explained within the parameters of current scientific knowledge?

How is that staid and conspirational clickbait video supposed to ruin my day? By robbing 4 minutes of it? No one is twisting your arm and making you watch it.

The only thing about it that ruined my day was his monotonous delivery. He had the vocal versatility of a window fan. Other than that, it was interesting.

No one is twisting your arm and making you watch it. Of course not. I'm not saying I have been forced to watch the video. I am saying videos like that do not ruin my day. Why do you want to ruin people's days anyway? Being an asshole makes you feel good? Some people have it coming to them.

Yeah, that's the way I feel about it too. Have you ever experienced anything that couldn't be explained within the parameters of current scientific knowledge? Sure, everyone has. Like everyone else, I've spent about a third of my life sleeping, and science has yet to explain why. But I think you may be talking about things contrary to current scientific knowledge. I don't think I've experienced anything like that -- at least, nothing comes to mind.

Yeah, usually when I've had a bit too much to drink.

Some people have it coming to them. You really feel that way? Pretty much yes.

"We all know that the dangers facing us today are greater by far than at any time in our long history. The enemy is not the soldier with his rifle nor even the airman prowling the skies above our cities and towns but the deadly power of abused technology."
Part of a speech Queen Elizabeth II was to give in event World War III broke out in the early 80s.
