Honestly, almost all of the albums I've been posting on this board could be considered "80s Metal from the 21st century". Here are my favorite 2015, 2016-ish, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 albums.

Electric Youth seems to always pop up, whenever I am having a bit of a "impulsive" browsing through Youtube videos for those late night retro-80s tunes. But I have still yet to hear anything as "nostalgic" or 80s sounding as their fantastic:
Right Back To You
It is even made better, when it is used along clips from the enjoyable sci-fi action movie Black Moon Rising (1986), where the beautiful Linda Hamilton and Tommy Lee Jones goes against each other, as two professionals cat or should I say car burglars who gets their hand on the latest of fast vehicle technology. It has actually, quite a bit of Terminator vibe going on, of course not on the same page of quality as that one, but you know, having "Sarah Connor" being chased through the night time L.A. by some mysterious and intense guy in a black leathersuit, which I guess was maybe the intention to begin with.

Carlie Rae Jepsen's E*Mo*Tion is, IMO, the most dead-on 80s pastiche album I've heard. So much so that if you gave the album to someone and said it was from the 80s, I'm pretty sure they'd believe you. My favorite track is probably the opener: Dua Lipa's last album was all 80s inspired too: Beyonce's best song IMO is this 80s-sounding Whitney Houston homage: Kayo Dot released two albums (Coffins on Io and Plastic House on Base of Sky) that sound kinda like Depeche Mode meets The Cure: Taylor Swift was pretty huge in popularizing the whole 80s throwback movement, and her 1989 album (and, to a lesser extent, Reputation) was very 80s: New Pornographers's Whiteout Conditions is another great 80s sounding album/song: Paramore went pretty 80s with After Laughter: Another great 80s-influenced track I stumbled across on YT: Chvrches whole vibe is pretty 80s, so you could pick pretty much any track: Here's one of Haim's very 80s songs: OK, I think that's enough for now.

Oh, and one more; can't believe I forgot this dead-on Prince homage from Janelle Monae:
