I am only listing actors who have been in a movie I score a 7 or higher (although I did make a exception with two below, Harrison Ford/Michael Keaton, which dropped down to a 6-6.5/10))...

3. Sean Connery - Goldfinger (1964)/From Russia with Love (1963)/Dr. No (1962) (NOTE: if your forcing me to name only one at the moment ill go with Goldfinger)

5. Gary Oldman - The Book of Eli (2010)

6. Clint Eastwood - Gran Torino (2008)/The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) (NOTE: I know the OP only wants one movie but this one is too close to call. if your forcing me, at the moment ill go with... Good Bad Ugly)

7. Anthony Hopkins - Meet Joe Black (1998) (for more of a leading role... The World's Fastest Indian (2005))

8. Morgan Freeman - The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

9. Denzel Washington - The Book of Eli (2010)

24. Matthew McConaughey - Killer Joe (2011-2012)

25. Samuel L. Jackson - Pulp Fiction (1994) (easily his best role to)

28. Tommy Lee Jones - Rolling Thunder (1977)

29. Johnny Depp - Blow (2001) (although The Ninth Gate (1999) is a close second)
