Noticed that Jean’s story has several elements of the Joseph Campbell’s hero’s journey.
1) The Call to Adventure – Jean founds out her father is alive and tries to seek out the truth. 2) Crossing the First Threshold – Jean leaves the X-Men behind after the death of Mystique. 3) Belly of the Whale - There is a manhunt for Jean. 4) Woman as Temptress – Vuk tries to tempt Jean into giving into the force. 5) Atonement with the Hero’s Father – Jean confronts Xavier(adoptive father). 6) Rescue From Without - The X-Men hold the D’Bari off to protect Jean. 7) Apotheosis - Jean makes peace with Xavier and realizes he did what he did out of love. 8) The Ultimate Boon - Jean gains control of her powers and defeats the D’Bari. 9) Refusal of the Return – Jean doesn’t return to Earth. 10) Master of the Two Worlds - Jean evolves beyond this world. 11) Freedom to Live – The movie ends with Xavier saying that Jean is free and we see her alive at the end.
Just thought it be fun to point out.

Unfortunately, Sophie Turner is no Jane Eyre.
