Not where I now live (Alabama ), I'm from the Chicago area and there used to be a lot of small bookstores but that was 20 years ago so I don't know if any survived, I've also lived in Nevada and New Mexico and most of those bookstores went out of business. I now order most of my books from Amazon, there is a Books-a-Million and a Barnes and Noble (both chains) in the city of Mobile but I have not gone to either of those stores.
