Why are you complaining about them going SJW when one of your favorite shows is Supergirl on The CW? Honestly any and all SJWisms in the MCU are pretty tame and insignificant compared to the constant pandering on Supergirl and soon enough the entire Arrowverse as it continues to go on. This is the MCU board and this thread is about an MCU movie. Why are you MCU fans always bringing DC into an MCU thread on an MCU board and trying to start an MCU vs DC war? So basically you cannot come up with a half-way decent counter argument, okay. You lose.

I watched Black Lightning. Now there's a REAL DC hero. Care to explain why he fucked up a bunch of cops in the pilot? This is the MCU board and this thread is about an MCU movie. Why are you MCU fans always bringing DC into an MCU thread on an MCU board and trying to start an MCU vs DC war? yet you're always bringing up Brady and the Patriots in MCU threads

Yeah that wasn't what either were doing, you see that wasn't about DC Vs. MCU that was two people calling you out on your hypocrisy, both asked you to explain what DC did in those shows to make the assault of police officers by a vigilante hero and the sjw pandering of Supergirl palatable to you which the MCU films fail to achieve, this is just evidence of your own behaviour and mindset, you make everything a DC Vs. MCU issue, so therefor you see everyone else's actions as the same, it's not it's a direct query to you to explain your rationale as to what makes the same actions taken by heroes or the creators of those shows not only acceptable but applaudable by you, basically asking you in your opinion what does the MCU lack in those situations.
But obviously such nuance went above your head, you ever wonder why everyone here thinks you are an idiot?

I think Kat is gorgeous but I personally prefer Brie Larson:
Meh, her looks do nothing for me. Maybe I'd like her more had she not tried to compare herself to victims of abuse because a guy asked for her phone number at an air port. Well I’m just talking about her looks. I don’t know anything about that.

Give me a week wit 'er id show 'er abuse, she wouldnee be able to sit down for a month I tells yah, I would ruin 'er.

So MCU is going the SJW once again, replacing male characters with female characters. Why are you complaining about them going SJW when one of your favorite shows is Supergirl on The CW? Felicity was a fun character for the first two seasons but when they made it 'Felicity Smoak and her Amazing Friends' it just got super annoying and the overall quality took a nosedive, and that they kept mistreating Laurel, the far better written and acted female character in the series, in favor of appealing to internet shippers it became more and more apparent they want to appeal to the Tumblr crowd than the hardcore fans. Season 5 was a huge improvement, but most of 6 and 7 were pretty dull.

What makes me laugh is the reason why people disliked Laurel in S2 is what would have made her a great character moving liver relationship more interesting, she isn't a perfect character and their relationship become even by the end of that season, the same was true for Olicity through S2, Oliver and Felicity could argue with each other, her flaws were flaws, when she was being stupid it was actually recognised, cut to S3 and Oliver no longer talks back to Felicity, her farts smell like roses and clouds of heaven, she does no wrong according to the show, despite the character actually acting like an ever increasing arrogant and selfish cunt, Laurel however is just shit on time after time, the relationship between equals and friends her and Oliver achieve in S2 is pissed away and Oliver looks at her like she's beneath him too often, all because Marc Guggen-CUNT had a hard on for the Felicity actress.
Who else laughed their arses off everytime Felicity had a "dramatic" scene? my god the actress could do quippy and comedic but she could not do serious at all, her "paniced" look when stuck in a gas chamber or her being upset over Laurel's death in S4 was fucking atrocious, I laughed my arse off anytime I see those scenes.

Question here now is, who will people appreciate more. Portman's Thora or Larson's Captain Marvel? I suspect there's a few youtuber's that'll be making three or four videos a day for the next two years about why we need to boycott Marvel. God help Natalie Portman if she says anything that can be taken out of context in the next year or so.

Arrow went SJW the moment Felicity took over the show. Sometime around S3 or S4 I think. Flash and Supergirl were always SJW-ish, but Supergirl went extreme since S2. S3 was where I'd say the seeds were being planted and became fairly noticeable towards the end and S4 the whole show turned from Arrow to 'Felicity Smoak and her Amazing Friends'. It was totally centered on her and the other far better characters got pushed aside or killed off like Laurel. It's like the producers just gave up on trying and just decided to pander to the 'Olicity' shippers and the rest of the Tumblr and Twitter crowd. I can see Flash going further down the path of Supergirl because so far the forced political messaging haven't felt *that* forced and the show is mostly boring these days, so I can imagine them trying to pull something heavy to gain attention. Supergirl S1 wasn't great(Lots of cheese, but most of it digestible) but it was an at least entertaining superhero show that families could watch together and enjoy, ever since it moved to The CW they've been pushing really heavy topics which really do not feel organic to the story and are not at all being subtle with their presentation. Last season touched upon transgenderism, now they could've approached this in a way where similarities to such were there but still keep a very accessible message around a fantastical character that would still engage viewers of most age groups, political parties, and faith but instead they went all-in and risked dividing a large portion of their viewers as the topic is very divisive amongst many folk and adult viewers who watch the program with their children may feel it is not appropriate for a family type of series. Jessica Jones S3 had a trans performer playing her secretary, it was better handled there than in Supergirl because A) the program is for mature audiences not for all ages and B) they didn't need to point out to anyone that they were trans or that they were flawless and demanding respect because they were that way. They just wrote them as a person and anyone else could have been in the same position. Not to say nothing was alluded whatsoever but they were tiny and delivered in tiny bits of dialog which explain everything.

Question here now is, who will people appreciate more. Portman's Thora or Larson's Captain Marvel? Maybe Portman, Larson is prone to saying many 'really? you just had to say that' things online and for press but Portman is one of those people in the industry who feels obligated to be a 'voice' and be an activist and while rare can say some really stupid stuff that leaves an imprint on the brain.

God help Natalie Portman if she says anything that can be taken out of context in the next year or so. I would say most of these YouTubers take issue not so much with Portman coming back as Jane Foster but rather that it seems Marvel Studios really wants to go in the direction of more recent storylines from the comic books which have neither been too successful with fans or financially and are mostly written and illustrated by people who often slam anyone, not just trolls, who express critical thought on their work even if its well argued and constructive - As a long time reader I personally avoid any book that is written and or drawn by Tim Doyle, Kelly Sue DeConnick, Ta-Neshi Coates, Richard Pace, and especially by Mark Waid because of how politically and religiously divisive and disrespectful to consumers they are if they do not feel or think the same way they feel on certain topics. And that is not even talking about how some have tried to sabotage independent comic makers from releasing books like their own, like your Jawbreakes: Lost Souls or Cyberfrog. But...That's taking this discussion to a different area almost, so I'll bring it back to Portman - I can see it happening, and to be fair Portman has something of a history of making pretty questionable statements herself in the past albeit fairly rarely.

Well said, I also laughed my arse off seeing Rickards and the rest of the Arrow team in every flash forward sequence in the last season, I mean...Did the crew even TRY to make them look older? Rickards was supposed to be the mother to Katherine McNamara and instead of looking like her mother she looked as exactly as old as she is compared to her in real life - four years(Which isn't much, if one wanted to cast a production based in a High School they both could play students of the same age).
