Chagne out!
Oz have crashed from 136 for 2 to 177 for 9
That's normally England's job...

That’s the tail most definitely not wagging. It’s amazing how quick cricket can change. Warner and Labuschagne were seeing off Woakes and Stokes with consummate ease. Archer and Broad come back, Warner gets a Jaffa that he did well to edge, Head played a stupid shot to a useful ball and Wade was desperately unlucky and all of a sudden, Australia are 5 or not many and in real trouble after looking like they were cruising just 4 overs previous and looking at a score of 300+

The useless No.3 fact strikes again for Root. England in trouble. Need a good lead after inserting the opposition snd already 2-10. As far as I'm concerned England have two options: 1). Continue spotting Australia 2 wickets at the start of every innings, or 2). Move Root to 4 and piss off Roy.

England in massive trouble now. 3-20. Will struggle to even get a lead here. If Stokes goes early they're looking at a substantial deficit.

I think you can write up today as the day Australia sealed the Ashes. Well bowled by our boys, but so many poor shots. Unforgivable England's aporoach today really. Worst case should have been a 75 or less lead. If they're not careful, they'll be trailing by 75 themselves.

Geoffrey Boycott'If England can't win this Root should give up' Joe Root might just be in a poor trot, that happens. But he has to start winning Tests against Australia, he's had seven goes and hasn't managed one yet. He won't get a better day to bowl yesterday and a better day to bat today - he has to win this Test. If he can't win this then he may as well give up the job. Their best batsman isn't playing, you couldn't ask for anything more. Root has had moments as captain when you think 'what the hell is going on here?' Australia were 120-2 on a juicy pitch last night and we still had four slips. You had to stop the flow of runs. He hasn't grasped the nuances of the game. Thank you second greatest living Englishman
