A Couple of Months ago, I posted what I thought would be a Great Idea for a 14th "STAR TREK" Movie mainly because I am a BIG Fan of "STAR TREK" and also because I thought that my idea would be a good way to send Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, and John Cho out with it being their Final "STAR TREK" Film.
That being said....When I first posted my idea on the "FILM GENERAL" Board, I got a lot of insults and criticism along with some suggestions, recommendations, and even ideas from people on what I could do to improve it and I have taken many of those ideas in and have now improved my story idea because of it.
--------------------------------
That being said, Here is My Whole entire VERY LONG "UPDATED" Idea below!
My Total Idea would be having "STAR TREK 14" basically be a Sequel to that Classic Episode "BALANCE OF TERROR" from The Original Series and the story would involve picking up at the very end of that episode when Kirk and The Enterprise-A disable the Romulan Warship and then the Commander of it (He could be Played by Liam Neeson) and Kirk have a brief conversation through the view screen (just like in "BALANCE OF TERROR") and then the Romulan Commander self destructs his ship destroying it and himself.
Then 1 day later, word of what happened reaches Romulus and the daughter of the Romulan Commander, Her name would be 'Calisto' (she would be played by Daisy Ridley) and she would also be a Top Romulan Officer herself and so she goes to the Head of the Romulan Military and requests a Warship to go after the Damaged Enterprise-A before it reaches a Star Base for repairs but her request is denied.
Then 1 year later, Calisto is now a Romulan Commander herself and also has her own Warship while at the same time, Kirk and the Enterprise-A arrive at the Space Station "Regula One" where Kirk and Spock will meet with 2 Top Scientists (1 of whom being Carol Marcus) about a Proposal of the Genesis Torpedo (at that point it has not been built, it is just information, blue prints on the torpedo itself, and information on how it would be expected to work and what the end results that would be expected from it).
At the same time, word of (what they think is) a Top Secret Weapon being made by STARFLEET reaches the Romulan Military and so they decide to send out 3 Romulan Warships (1 of them being Calisto's Warship) to "Regula One", attack it and the Enterprise-A, board the Space Station, obtain any and all of the information on the Genesis Torpedo, and then return to Romulus with that information. At first, Calisto (Played by Daisy Ridley) would not be interested in such a type of mission until she is informed that the Enterprise-A is at "Regula One" and that a Battle with that ship is highly likely (also at that point, she would be aware that the Captain of the Enterprise-A is James T. Kirk, also during the whole film, Calisto would be having flashbacks of moments with her father when she was a child and later as she was growing up and serving in the Romulan Military) and so she, her crew (all of whom would be 100 Percent Loyal to her no matter what), her Warship, and 2 other Romulan Warships (all 3 of them would be led by a Romulan Admiral, somebody played by Sean Bean) then set course for "Regula One".
Once they arrive there, they attack both the station and the Enterprise-A and at 1 point during the battle, The Enterprise-A is actually able to destroy 1 of the Romulan Warships. At the same time, Calisto and a dozen Romulan Soldiers board "Regula One", kill dozens of Starfleet Officers and Scientists aboard it, obtain the information on the Genesis Torpedo, and then beam away but not before 1 point during the battle aboard the station (Kirk would actually also be onboard the station when the Romulans board it) where Calisto comes face to face with Kirk and then they (after knocking each other's Phasers away) have a 1 on 1 fight with each other in which Calisto overpowers Kirk and then picks up Kirk's own Phaser and then proceeds to shoot him (not realizing that Kirk had set his Phaser just on Stun) and then (thinking that she has avenged her father and killed Kirk) she goes over to the Main Computer but Carol Marcus tries to stop Calisto from accessing the station's main computer system (where the information on the Genesis Torpedo is stored) first by quickly taking a blade off of 1 of the dead Romulan Soldiers (that was shot by a Starfleet Officer when he first beamed aboard the station), and then quickly running over to Calisto where she then stabs her in her right shoulder with it, Calisto immediately then yells out in both pain and anger, slowly turns around, sees Carol standing right there, and then quickly pulls the blade out of her right shoulder, and then (right in front of a recovering Kirk) she stabs Carol in the stomach with it killing her. Kirk would then scream and then Calisto (seeing that Kirk is still alive) puts the blade away into her own side pocket and then she proceeds to open fire on Kirk (with her own Phaser this time), while at the same time, another Romulan Officer accesses the station's computer and obtains the information and then informs the Romulan Admiral that they have it, the Romulan Admiral then orders the boarding party to immediately return to their ships to which Calisto protests (she wants to finish off Kirk) but then the Romulan Admiral orders his own crew to beam her and the rest of the Romulan Boarding Party off of the station and back to their own ships, and then after that, the 2 remaining Romulan Warships would jump to warp and head back to Romulan Space while Kirk and the survivors aboard "Regula One" beam back to the Enterprise-A just before the badly damaged station explodes.
Kirk and the Enterprise-A would then set a pursuit course after the 2 Romulan Warships and the Warships would pick up the Enterprise-A following them on their sensors. Calisto would request permission from the Romulan Admiral to take her ship back and destroy the Enterprise-A (she would give her reason as being to distract the Enterprise-A and give the Romulan Admiral and his ship enough time to escape and reach the Romulan Neutral Zone where Romulan Reinforcements would be waiting but in reality, her real reason would be just so she could kill Kirk). The Romulan Admiral would refuse her request and then after continued protests, he would relieve Calisto of her command then place her Centurion Officer (somebody played by Cillian Murphy) in command of it. Her Centurion Officer however is loyal to Calisto along with the rest of her crew and so she then informs her crew that they will be defying the Romulan Admiral's order and go back after the Enterprise-A, Her crew stands with her. When the Romulan Admiral learns that Calisto's Warship is turning around to go after the pursuing Enterprise-A, He orders his own Warship to fire on it and disable it's shields so that a Boarding Party can board it and then take command of it, Calisto however quickly responds by having her Warship close in and fire at point blank range on the Romulan Admiral's Warship and she destroys it. Calisto and her Warship then go back after the Enterprise-A and then basically over the course of the movie, both she and her ship and Kirk and the Enterprise-A would have a long chase and battle with each other (they would chase each other into an asteroid field, 1 ship would then manage to escape from the other who would then later find that other in orbit of a planet and then on the surface of that planet, crews from both ships would engage in a fire fight battle during which they accidentally encounter both the carnivorous alien wildlife and the hostile alien inhabitants of that planet). After that, Both Ships would then leave orbit (with 1 ship chasing the other while at the same time firing on each other) and then towards the end of the film, The Enterprise-A will have badly damaged Calisto's Warship enough for her to order her crew to abandon ship while the closing Enterprise-A comes within transporter range and then as it beams over a dozen Security Officers to the Warship, Calisto (just after abandoning her Warship in her own Private Romulan Fighter Ship, she would be all alone inside of it, her crew would have abandoned ship in other escape shuttles) remote detonates all of the remaining torpedoes inside of her Warship which destroys it (killing all of the Enterprise-A Security Officers aboard it) and the result of it totally disables the Enterprise-A.
Kirk then decides (over the protests of Spock, McCoy, and Uhura) to alone take 1 of the Enterprise-A's Shuttles and go after Calisto's Fighter Ship and then the 2 Small Ships would then chase and battle with each other and it would lead them all the way into either a Nebula (just like "THE WRATH OF KHAN") or a Rift (just like "NEMESIS") where the 2 Small Ships would then have a long cat and mouse game during which both Kirk and Calisto at different points get the upper hand over each other (during which the weapons systems on Kirk's Shuttle are damaged and not functioning while the sensors on Calisto's Fighter Ship are damaged and also not functioning) but Kirk eventually gains the final upper hand between the 2 of them and he flies his Shuttle out of a small Gas Cloud within the Nebula or Rift at high impulse speed right down onto Calisto's Fighter Ship (both ships shield's would impact with each other on the collision) which ends up disabling Calisto's Fighter Ship and knocking out it's shields, after which Kirk then beams over to it to arrest her and get back the information on the Genesis Torpedo that she stole). Upon beaming over however, Calisto immediately opens fire with her Phaser on Kirk while Kirk would immediately jump away from it and then manage to tackle Calisto and then the 2 of them would then have another 1 on 1 fight with each other and again, Calisto (after a 3 or 4 Minute 1 on 1 fight with Kirk) would eventually Overpower Kirk and would then be in a position to break Kirk's neck, she would then ask Kirk if he has any final words to which Kirk then responds...."Yeah, This is for Carol" and then Kirk would grab Calisto's Blade (the same one that she used to kill Carol Marcus) and then stab Calisto right in the stomach (just like how Kirk killed Ayel in "STAR TREK") and then Calisto would collapse to the floor and die (the last thing she would see would basically be a hallucination of her father ''Liam Neeson" standing over her smiling and reaching his own hand down to her).
Then a few days later while the Enterprise-A is under repairs in Space Dock, a Female STARFLEET Admiral named "Admiral Wallace" (She would be played by Geena Davis) visits Kirk in his quarters and she informs him that she was Carol Marcus's Mother. She then thanks Kirk for what he did and then informs him that several months after he and Carol Marcus broke up (they had been in a relationship for a couple of years), Carol gave birth to a baby boy named David and the only reason why Carol did not tell Kirk about him was because she did not want David to grow up and follow in her father's footsteps (I think that Carol would have considered Kirk to be a very bad influence just based on her own experience with him). Admiral Wallace then proceeds to go back out of Kirk's Quarters (where we would see 2 STARFLEET Officers standing) and then she looks down and tells someone to come inside, and then David himself (he would be just a little boy) comes from around the corner and steps inside and then the Movie itself would close with Kirk meeting his son for the very first time.
and that is my idea!
