Its more of a hint at amusement rather than a literal laugh out loud.

Most of the time...yes...I've laughed or chuckled, or at least smiled at something. Usually it's all lowercase lol...but if I really got a good laugh out of something it's LOL in all caps. I rarely use lmao.

Hi Red Horizon
That’s okay. I am kinda late with my reply too ‘cause I have had a lot of emails and private messages to reply over the last week and I haven’t had much time to write long posts but I am have now and it is a new month, a new year, a new decade and I hope you enjoyed Christmas even though you didn’t do anything special for it and you had a good New Year’s Eve with your Sister and her family and we still have our Christmas decorations up here but we are taking them all down tomorrow and I am not looking forward to doing that ‘cause I love having them up but they have to go now ‘cause Christmas was over a week ago and we started taking some things down and Beccy has got the boxes out ready for everything to be packed away.
It is probably going to take us ages to take everything down and pack it away tomorrow ‘cause Beccy and I put up so many Christmas decorations in November and that feels like it has just rushed by and we still have new Christmas movies, albums and books we didn’t get around to watching, listening to or reading but we will have next Christmas to do that. We had a fantastic Christmas though and I got lots of presents and Beccy did too including a lot of things she wasn’t expecting to get but it was our pets and my Nieces and Nephew that got the most and they loved all the things we bought them for it and my Nieces loved the ‘Frozen 2’ things the most and I talked to my Sister about that before we bought them any ‘Frozen 2’ things to make sure we didn’t buy them the same presents my Brother in Law and her were getting for them and my Sister loved what I got her and she thought I spent too much money on her but I always do.
Did you get many presents for Christmas last week? I love biscuits and cookies and bake them myself but I have never made red wine and have never been a fan of it either even when I used to drink and wine was disappointing when I first tried it ‘cause I love grapes and thought I might like wine but ohh yuck () and it wasn’t as bad as beer or whiskey but I didn’t like the taste of it at all but I hope your Mum enjoyed it and I didn’t know could have banana wine but Vodka used to have a lot of flavours and I liked Iced Coffee, chocolate, strawberry, banana, raspberry, pineapple, watermelon etc. It has been so long since I drank Vodka I don't know if they even sell those anymore and I never liked alcohol that much which is why it was easy for me to give it up. Now giving up coffee would be a different story 'cause I really love coffee and I need to have my twenty something different flavours in the cupboard and I am having a Robert Timms Italian Espresso Style coffee bag now.
My last two Wisdom teeth were nightmares and it is kinda funny how they both picked the exact same time of year to come through a year apart and thankfully they didn't come through at the same time or it would have been worse. I have been slowly eating more things now and today I had cut up bananas and mangoes with green grapes and blueberries and I loved having grapes and blueberries again and there are so many fruits I have been missing having and I could probably live on fruit and not eat anything else 'cause I love fruit so much. Although I would miss chocolate. Yeah. Biting and chewing things is hard and I have been keeping most foods to the right side of my mouth and the next thing I will be having again is bread and I will probably have a Peanut Butter sandwich. That's sad your cyst has been a reoccurring problem but I am glad it wasn't painful. That is interesting you have family living in Melbourne but I sadly can't say I am surprised about the coast of that treatment 'cause Melbourne is known for being very expensive here and if you think Melbourne is expensive Sydney is worse and is one of the most expensive places to live in the world and I have heard you can buy a small mansion in Spain for the price they are charging people to rent houses in Sydney at the moment and that is ridiculous and we have had people come here from other countries hoping to live in Sydney that changed their minds after they realised how much it costs and while we enjoy going to Sydney sometimes and will be taking my youngest Niece to 'The Grounds of Alexandra’ later this month 'cause they have turned it into 'Frozen 2' for a limited time with the ‘Enchanted Forest’ and ‘Crystal Lane’ and 'Frozen 2' inspired food and drinks everything costs twice or three times as much as it costs where we live and just a bottle of water or a soft drink can be such a ripoff and I wouldn't want to live there.
I actually had some custard not long ago except I had the Paul's Double Thick Chocolate Custard this time and I would love it if they released it in Strawberry and Mint flavours and they used to have Strawberry Custard years ago and it was delicious but they stopped selling it and I haven't seen it in any shops around here since the 90s. Treadmills are always good to have in your house and you can get them cheaper in some places here than others and my Sister and Cousin (Jennifer) have them too and I have used an excercise bike but I prefer the Treadmill. I have been a Vegetarian since I was 9 or 10 and I turned off eating meat when I was young 'cause I love animals and saw some shows about what they do to them and couldn't eat chicken, cows or pigs anymore and we have a pet pig so I couldn't picture myself ever eating bacon or ham again. We do eat Seafood though and we like prawns, crab sticks, calamari rings and some fish so some might say we aren't fully Vegetarians but that is the only meat we will eat and we know other Vegetarians who eat Seafood too. Beccy is very strong and she has always been stronger than most since we were kids but not as strong as she is now and she can lift my Uncle and he is a regular sized guy but you have you be careful what you do to him or he will fart and he is disgusting with some of the things he does and has always found rude things hilarious. I forgot to mention in regards to Savage Garden they were a great band and I am still surprised they broke up 'cause they were one of the biggest bands in our country when they did and a third album was almost guaranteed to be a hit. I liked 'Affirmation.' Although their first album was my favourite and I saw them in concert a couple of times and Darren Hayes solo. Darren Hayes as a solo artist was never as popular as he was in Savage Garden and he had some hits out here and 'Insatiable' got played a lot on the radio and music channels but everything else never reached the same heights as Savage Garden. One of the backup singers (Jennifer Waite) had her own band called Aneki and they were fairly good and I liked their debut album but they sadly didn't last very long. There are a lot of new albums coming out this year by artists and bands like Jewel, Blue Oyster Cult, Magnum, Aleyce Simmonds, Harem Scarem, Jorn and H.E.A.T. I am looking forward to getting this year and I am a big fan of Jewel and can't wait to hear her new album and Blue Oyster Cult's new album is their first of brand new material in 19 years.
Our Malshis are very clever and cute with the things they can do and they were barking at the TV recently 'cause there was a character yelling at people in a movie we were watching and they didn't like their voice and Occy started first and then Sally joined in too and that is how it usually starts here and then the two of them are barking and crying over things at the same time. We got them a Babble Ball not long before Christmas and they love that and I don't know if you have heard of one of those but they keep the two of them amused for ages and the babble ball makes all these weird and funny sounds anytime they touch it and Occy was the first one to play with it and was scared of it at first and was jumping backwards but now he loves it. 'Paw Patrol' is an animated show and it has been going for 7 seasons now and is still very popular. Here are two videos of Aneki.
Hi Deb! I keep forgetting it's a new decade, feels like any other new year. Taking down Xmas decorations won't take as much time and effort as putting them up but it's still a chore. Besides you no longer feel the Christmas spirit, so it's not as enjoyable. I saw a Frozen 2 puzzle game for kids on an online shopping site. Hey, I was actually watching Frozen 1 a few days ago. No I didn't get any presents for Christmas. Exchanging presents for Christmas was never a regular thing in my family. You bake too! That's cool. Good for you that you decided to give up drinking. I don't drink either. Dad bought some Feni from his recent trip to Goa. Feni is an alcoholic drink produced in the state of Goa. Mom asked me if I wanted some and I said no. I like coffee and tea. No reason to give that up. That's awesome you can get those different types of coffee there. Here we get sachets of ready to make cappuccino. I like it chilled. Just a few days back, I bought the mocha flavoured box. We don't get blueberries here. I'm pretty sure you'll get tired of eating just fruit alone all the time. I like having bread with jam, butter or cheese spread. I might have to go to the dentist again soon, but I'm hoping it doesn't happen for a few months. Yeah, I did read before your comparison of Sydney and Spain. I didn't knew that there was so much difference between those two places. I read that they canceled the Sydney fireworks for New Year because of the bush fires. The Grounds of Alexandra sounds like a magical place. I would love to have some 'Frozen 2' inspired food and drink cos it's warm here now. Paul's Double Thick Chocolate Custard, that sounds tempting. You must still be having semi solid foods a lot. A manual treadmill is cheaper here than a real treadmill. I like pork more than beef but it's only on the menu in one or two restaurants. We buy pork from the market and Mom usually makes Pork Vindaloo which is great. I vaguely remember you mentioning having a duck or goose as a pet as well. As far as seafood is concerned, seeing big fish like dolphin, shark and rays in the throes of death is as disconcerting as seeing a cow or goat getting slaughtered. The truth is, I can't bear to watch even a chicken being killed. Your Uncle must think he is very funny. He is bound to do those things when Beccy picks him up again. Be careful not to drop him. That's sad that Savage Garden didn't release more albums. I liked Affirmation too. I was probably the first person in my city to get hold of that album when it was released. From the first album, I liked To the Moon and Back, I Want You and Truly Madly Deeply. But Truly Madly Deeply was so overplayed on MTV that eventually I got sick of it. You've actually seen them in concert! That's incredible. These solo careers usually go downhill after sometime, in so many cases. I've never heard of Jennifer Waite or Aneki. I watched the Aneki videos. Pleased To Meet You was the better song but the sound quality of the video is horrible. I could only hear on the left side of my headphones and my ears ached. I like Foolish Games and Hands by Jewel. Our dogs are clever too, but they can be a terrible nuisance with their howling, which is so loud that I worry what the neighbours might think. It always starts with the female dog, Romy and then the male, Snoopy follows suit. I've never heard of a Babble Ball, sounds like a lot of fun for the dogs and you as well. Hi again
Yes. It is officially a new year now Red Horizon and the start of a brand new decade and while I agree with you that it doesn’t feel that different we are still only in the first month of 2020 () so if there are going to be any major changes we probably won’t see them for a while. One good thing we have seen change here recently is our fires and after destroying more than 1,200 houses in our state since New Year’s Day and 2638 homes in total Australia wide since they started back in spring our country is finally getting some long overdue rain!! More than 50 fires have been put out by the rain and a lot of the big fires like the ‘Mega Blaze’ have been downgraded and contained and this is the best news we have had this year and they have said it won’t put out all of them or stop the drought but it will make things easier going forward.
The amount of houses that have been lost is terrible though and some of the fires were said to have burned through towns on the South Coast leaving a trail of destruction behind them and firefighters were unable to stop them and had to evacuate homes. It is believed close to 80 percent of the Blue Mountains could have been lost to the fires and a lot of animals that live there have been killed and had their habitat destroyed and the latest reports I was reading the other day said there have been over 1.3 billion animals killed across Australia which is ridiculous. 21 people have been killed here in New South Wales including an 84 year old man who died of burns today and on top of that 18.6 million hectares have been burned which is bigger than the size of some countries and states and when the fires are out it is going to be a long time before everything is repaired 'cause so many things have been destroyed but the loss of animals is not something we can repair or replace.
Some good news though my Sister is pregnant with her fourth baby and I had no idea she was planning on having another baby and she ended up telling me about it sooner on the phone 'cause she couldn't wait and I am excited to be an Aunt again to another cute Baby and am looking forward to my Sister having her or him and my Brother In Law and her have already chosen 10 boy names and 10 girl names 'cause she likes to plan things early. We had my youngest Niece here with us a few days ago and we finally took her to the Grounds of Alexandria in Sydney to see the 'Frozen 2' things and the Enchanted Forest and Crystal Lane looked amazing and very life like and it was smaller than we expected but they had a lot of things there and we had a good time with Courtney and we liked the Ice Queen cake and Cold Front drink the most. I think we may have got them the 'Frozen 2' puzzle game you saw and the only 'Frozen 2' things we didn't get were the things my Sister and Brother In Law already got her for Christmas and Courtney loves the Frozen 2 Monopoly game the most and we often play Monopoly with her when she comes here and it is her favourite board game.
Our Christmas decorations have all been taken down now and it took us a day to do it and it wasn't fun but we have a new theme up now and later this week we are going to put our Valentine's Day decorations up and we have a lot of those too and Valentine's Day toys that sing and dance and we will have to get Occy and Sally presents for Valentine's Day too so they don't get upset they aren't getting anything and they have had a big week as it is with the rain and storms and both of them don't like thunder and they cry and bark over it and pee on the floor when they get scared and I think I told you Occy likes to bark at thunder when he is outside and he jumps up in the air and barks like he is telling the storms to shut up and he looks hilarious doing it but the barking and crying can be very annoying sometimes and the worst things are when the Metre Reader comes here or when there are people up on their roof outside and they can see them and Occy and Sally will still be barking long after the people are gone.
Oohh. Okay. We always get presents for each other for Christmas but the best present is always having the Christmas holidays off work and having time to ourselves 'cause we don't get that as much when we are working and sadly our Christmas holidays will be coming to an end soon and Beccy has one more week off and then she will be going back to work and I will be going back to work the week after and this month sure has flown by and I wish Beccy had more time off. She works so much more than me but she has a really good job now and gets paid a lot and she used to work in the night sometimes and I hated that 'cause I would be so worried about her and Beccy can look after herself but we have had people attacked and robbed by gangs in the towns around us. Giving up drinking wasn't hard for me but giving up smoking is a whole different story and I have cut down a lot over the years and only have around 5 a day but giving it up completely is not easy but I am trying and Beccy and my family and friends are proud of the progress I have made.
Thanks for explaining what Feni is and no, I definitely won't be giving up drinking coffee 'cause I love it too much and tonight I am drinking a cup of Nescafe Short Black and have you got Moccona, Nescafe and Robert Timms where you live and Dare and Oak Iced Coffee and Iced Tea? I love Iced Coffee but only when it is milk and hot coffee when it is black and I don't like the taste of cold black coffee and I don't like milk in hot coffee and am rather picky. The Mocha Box sounds good and I like Mocha along with Hazelnut Mocha and White Mocha but we can't get the Hazelnut Mocha anymore and can only get it as a Latte. Wow. I am surprised you don't have Blueberries and I thought they had those all over the world and I have always liked Blueberries and I probably would get bored if I could only eat fruits but I love them and we had watermelon tonight. I am eating a lot more of the things I usually eat now and we had vegetables with pasta for dinner and last night we had vegetable pies which are one of my favourite pastry foods.
Knowing animals were getting killed was what completely turned me off eating meat when I was younger and I don't have a problem with people who eat meat but just can't stand the thought of it myself. One thing I don't think people should eat though are rabbits 'cause they are pets like cats and dogs and are cute and I don't think they should be eaten.
It was sad Savage Garden broke up and didn't release more albums and most of the time when bands break up their solo careers don't go well. There have been some exceptions though like Robbie Williams from Take That and Ronan Keating from Boyzone and both of them were more successful as solo artists and a lot of people didn't know Robbie Williams was in Take That 'cause he wasn't the lead singer. The Beatles members also had successful solo careers and Paul McCartney had both his solo career and Wings after the Beatles and I actually always liked Wings more than the Beatles and Billy Joel started out in a band but become more well known as a solo artist. Sorry about the sound quality but that was the only video I could find of it and there are a lot of Australian music videos missing on You Tube and some people are uploading more old ones now with good quality but there are quite a few missing that used to get played on Rage, Video Hits and Channel V. Have you heard of Harem Scarem? They are one of my favourite bands and have a lot of albums out and here are some of their songs below.

Hi! That's a nice Koala Bear emoticon. The 2020 ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup will be a big thing here. An important event for Indians in 2020. This time it will be held there in Australia in October. Yeah, I did hear about the long awaited rain and from what I read it rained bucket loads in some areas, whereas it didn't rain in some areas where the fires were still burning. I didn't knew there was a Mega Blaze, that's sounds massive. One news report said it was confirmed that the fires were due to climate change. It's staggering when entire towns are destroyed. I don't know how big Blue Mountains is but 80% sounds like total destruction. Almost always in these cases it is the animals that suffer the most. It will be difficult to predict what the future will be for what's left of the wildlife there. Another kid to call you Auntie, that's cool. Keeping those names will come in handy. So there won't be any last minute confusion and choosing of names which may or may not be the best choice. Because of all this heat here, the Cold Front drink would feel great now. It has been more than fifteen years since I last played Monopoly, I enjoyed it even though I wasn't very good at it. You have Valentine's Day decorations and toys?! I think you're spoiling Occy and Sally with these presents. They might be thinking it's still Christmas. Well in my case, Snoopy is afraid of thunder and firecrackers, but Romy is very brave and doesn't have such fears. The thing is, that there are more instances of firecrackers bursting than the occurrence of thunder and lightning here. It's like people don't even need a reason to burst crackers here. Yes, I agree that January is moving very quickly and is almost over. It's a leap year this year so February is slightly longer. The nights are not safe here for women as well. Unless they are accompanied by a male. That's great you made progress with your smoking. Even though I don't know the whole story, I still think 5 a day is a lot. I hope you make it to three. We have Nescafe here. But not Moccona, Robert Timms or Dare and Oak. Lately we have replaced Nescafe by buying Bru Instant sachets which tastes just as good as Nescafe and is cheaper. Although we don't buy it, there is Lipton Ice Tea available in stores. Cold Coffee with milk added is available here from Amul, like Kool Koko, Kool Cafe Classic and Kool Cafe Hazelnut. From Nescafe we have Chilled Latte, Hazelnut and Intense Cafe. White Mocha sounds tasty. Instead of real blueberries, we have Blueberry Jam here and sometimes Blueberry pastry. It's surprising you don't get hungry after having just watermelon. I haven't had vegetable pies, but we cook pasta and to that we add vegetables, spring onion, egg, chicken etc. I don't usually think about animals being killed for meat, but I admit it's cruel to kill them in inhumane ways. Rabbits are cute, two of my neighbours had them before, but some animal came and killed all the rabbits at my next door neighbour's and I no longer see rabbits running around in my other neighbour's yard. I had rabbit meat only once in my life and I didn't like it. My mom said she would no longer cook rabbits cos she was repulsed on seeing the dead rabbit. I think it's still being sold in the nearby market. Robbie Williams was quite successful, 'Feel' is probably my favourite song of his. But I liked Gary Barlow too. I think even Mark Owen had a solo career. I remember his song 'Child'. I also bought a cassette of Ronan's first solo album. I like some of The Beatles' songs but I think they are overrated particularly in the West although I'm no expert on music. I never knew until now that Billy Joel was part of a band. I've never heard of Rage or Video Hits, but Channel V along with MTV were my favourite channels as a teenager. Sorry, I've never heard of Harem Scarem. But I heard all the songs you posted except 'Voice of Reason' which I couldn’t play. I think these songs would sound even better if you watched them live in concert.

Thanks. I am back and I have missed talking to you and was going to write to you the other day but I wasn’t feeling well on Thursday and without going into details I was sadly in a lot of pain and on top of that I have got the flu again and I have had a runny nose the past few days and it is driving me batty and I have had VapoDrops, Butter Menthols and Lemsip but nothing we have here seems to be helping at the moment but I will be okay. I am back at work now and I didn’t let my flu stop me from going on Friday ‘cause I have just gone back this week and the last thing I want to do is have time off ‘cause I am sick so I am soldering on and will be going again on Monday and at least I have the weekend off.
I knew I would get the flu again ‘cause it is my longtime nemesis () and it always comes back to me but I wasn’t expecting to get it until at least autumn and it sucks getting it in summer but at least it is not the coronavirus and that would be a lot worse. Have you heard about that? A lot of people have died from it already and we have people getting detained here in Australia on Christmas Island who are suspected of having it and from the way they are describing it on the news it sounds like it is one of the worst viruses we have had in decades and is rather scary. The rain sadly went away since I last talked to you and we have had a few more houses burned down and a fire in Canberra crossed over into our state but it is back again and it is the most rain we have had in ages and we are getting a lot of floods here and areas that haven’t had heavy rain in over 40 years are getting heaps of it.
The main street of one of the towns near us went under a few days ago and I didn’t know that could even go under with a flood and the last time we had a big flood here in 1992 that didn’t go under so it was quite a surprise and the main streets of some other towns Beccy and I have been to a number of times such as Ballina and Byron Bay went under too and one of my cousins lives up near them and they didn’t flood like this back when they had the floods at the top of our state during the aftermath of Cyclone Debbie a few years ago and it is weird seeing and hearing about all these floods after the fires and drought and most of it is not staying but some towns are still flooded now and people have been buying sandbags to try and protect their houses from getting water in them.
For others it is too late and they have water through their houses and shops are having water swept out of them but the good news is it is putting a lot of the fires out and with more on the way we may be seeing the end of the fires soon and it is helping a lot with the drought and dams are getting more water in them again and a river was apparently filled too that was running dry. It is unknown if it will end the drought in our state but unlike last time this is the rain that many people have been hoping would come including our firefighters. There have been multiple things responsible for the bushfires we have had and climate change has been one of them and another has been arsonists who decided to all come out light as many fires as they could to contribute to things the last few months and they should be ashamed of themselves especially the ones in their 40s and 50s.
It is sad how many animals have died in these fires and not to mention how many homes have been destroyed and it is going to take our state a lot of time to recover from this disaster and things won’t be the same in some towns that the fires affected the most but with the animals they have lost their families and homes and their way of life and it is good they have saved some of them and they are in animal hospitals, zoos and wildlife parks now but I don’t think most of them will return to the wild or they would have nothing to return to. It is difficult to predict what it will happen with our animals in the future when the fires are over but hopefully we don’t have any more fires like this later on in the year 'cause we don't need a repeat. We went to the Sydney Zoo with my family on Sunday and we had a good time there and saw a lot of animals and we had been wanting to go there for a while but hadn't with the smoke and haze and it was nice going to a different zoo than Taronga Zoo for a change and my youngest Niece enjoyed it the most and just after we left it started raining and we were so lucky we missed it or we would have got drowned and that wouldn't have been fun at all.
Both my Nieces and Nephew love animals as much as we do and I am sure my new Niece or Nephew is going to love them too and we are considering getting a Shetland Pony next and we won't be getting one for a while 'cause we already have two dogs, two cats, two rabbits, a pig, a parrot and fish along with my horse that lives with my Aunt and Uncle's horses but I think a Shetland Pony would be a great pet to have here and they are so cute!! I have always loved horses and grew up spending a lot of time with the horses on my Aunt and Uncle's farm and learned how to ride them and that is one of the reasons I loved last year's movie, 'Ride Like A Girl' with Teresa Palmer and it was such an amazing moment when Michelle Payne won the Melbourne Cup a few years ago and become the first female jockey to do it. Wow. That is a long time since you last played Monopoly and we tend to play a lot of board games when my youngest Niece comes here and I have become really good at Chess and am undefeated much like I am at bowling.
Yes. We have Valentine's Day decorations and toys too and we have decorations and toys for everything and we do spoil our Malshis but they love all their toys and we love watching them play with them and Occy and Sally got groomed the other day and they look adorable again and Sally has little pink ribbons in her hair and Occy has a blue and white polka dot bow in his and he was feeling left out 'cause Sally always gets her ribbons so we got him a bow this time and it will be interesting to see how long it lasts in his hair 'cause Occy usually takes things like that off but he seems to be leaving it this time. We got him a little Easter Bunny outfit for Easter one year and it went over his head and had bunny ears and he hated that and kept taking it off so we didn't put it back on him again. That must be weird having one dog afraid of loud noises and the other one not and does Romy give Snoopy weird looks when they get scared or does Snoopy go and cuddle into Romy 'cause Occy and Sally will cuddle into each other if they are scared sometimes. I noticed this year is a leap year and I knew there had to be one coming up soon 'cause it has been a while since the last one.
Thanks and thank you for letting me know about your coffee and I agree with you about the Harem Scarem songs and I just got Mackenzie Porter's new single, 'Seeing Other People' on I Tunes today which you can see the official lyric video of below and we have bought quite a few albums already this year and I have got Aleyce Simmonds' 'Here & Now', 'Magnum's 'The Serpent Ring', Passion's 'Self Titled' album, Autumn Child's 'Self Titled' album, Donnie Vie's 'Beautiful Things', Art Nation's 'Transition', Crashdiet's 'Rust', Gabrielle Aplin's 'Dear Happy', House of Shakira's 'Radiocarbon', Revolution Saints' 'Rise', Eclipse's 'Paradigm', Jorn's 'Heavy Rock Radio II' along with others and we are waiting for Seven Spires 'Emerald Seas' and H.E.A.T.'s 'II' the most this month and Seven Spires sound awesome and I will post one of their latest singles below. You are right about Robbie Williams and I was surprised to find out he wasn't that big in America 'cause he has been one of the biggest names in music here since he left Take That and I really liked his 'Swing When You're Winning' album and he sounds good singing Rat Pack songs. Billy Joel was indeed in a band and they were a Hard Rock band called Attila and sounded very different than his solo material as you can here below too.

Hi Red Horizon

Hey again! Sad to hear that you had to bear the pain again with flu on top of it. We have VapoDrops here. There is also Halls, Strepsils and Cofsils. There is this ayurvedic candy called Eladi which has a strong taste compared to the other candies. It's hot and sweet and not one of my favourites. I hope you're feeling better now after that difficult week. You get the flu every year?! I don't get sick that often. In the news, I'm definitely following what's happening with the coronavirus. The virus surpassed the SARS virus which up until now was considered the worst among the trio of viruses. The other one is MERS. There are only three confirmed cases in India and they are all from my state, Kerala. But those three students are getting better and out of danger for now. I heard that the rain there had put out one of the largest fires. I've seen pictures of streets flooded and also with fallen trees on the roads. Did you say Cyclone Debbie?! I have never heard a storm or cyclone named after me. Until the rain stops the water won't recede. I hope the water level there goes down soon. That is really good news if all the fires are going to be put out. I hope it happens soon. I guess the firefighters job won't finish until the last fire is put out. I read that - The Indian Ocean Dipole - often called the "Indian Niño" led to the unusually dry weather in Australia that triggered the devastating forest fires. The same thing caused what was an unusually warm winter period in Kerala, my state. It's all related to climate change. Most of the animals that were saved from perishing in the fire might be injured and might not survive if returned to the wild. They will also be vulnerable to predators with no forest cover to hide. I hope these animals find a permanent home wherever they are now. The same way you hope there won't be any new fires this year, I hope there are no floods in my state this year. We had floods in 2018 & 2019. Sydney Zoo must be amazing compared to the zoos in our country. Courtney seems to enjoy a lot being with you guys. I think zoos are a great place for both adults and children. I've seen you post Shetland Ponies on the cute animals thread. Would the pony live with your horse at your Aunt and Uncle's place? It must be nice to have a parrot, cos they can talk too. But I don't like them seeing caged. I've been on a horse but I don't know how to ride them. I don't know much about that Teresa Palmer movie but I have heard of it. I was never good at chess or maybe the people I played against were smarter than me. I've never done bowling. The nearest bowling alley is in the city in a mall. That bowling alley is called Amoeba. Wait a minute… You said "undefeated". You mean to say nobody has beaten you at chess & bowling?! That is incredible. Pink ribbons and a Polka Dot bow. If they like it, there's no harm in it. If Occy makes a fuss it is better to remove it. It is surprising that you could find an Easter Bunny outfit that fit Occy exactly. He must have looked liked a different animal altogether. When there is thunder, Romy just lies there curled up and doesn't show any interest in what Snoopy is doing. Normally when this happens they usually lie just outside the back door where they are sheltered but not from the booming thunder. The reality is, Snoopy just acts like he is scared just to get inside and near us. He paws on the door and when we let him inside he gets happy and lie on the rug. Once he is inside, no matter how loud the thunder gets, he shows absolutely no sign of fear. It's all a ruse. If the storm doesn't go away soon, we let Romy in too. OMG that is a lot of albums you bought and it is only just February. None of those bands sound familiar. I don't even know what genres of music those albums are. So Robbie Williams wasn't big in America… That's interesting. I don't know what a 'Rat Pack' song is. Thanks for letting me know about Billy Joel, I like some of his songs. I was strange seeing Mackenzie Porter in a video for the first time after only seeing her images in so many of your posts. The interesting thing about that Seven Spires video you posted was that the singer was wearing an inverted cross around her neck. She sure has guts.

Have you really gave out a laugh everytime you typed LOL? Do you type LOL sometimes just to be polite but there was no laugh? Has there been a time where it was amusing but you didn't laugh but you still typed LOL? Are you a big laugher in general or do you laugh on the inside more? All of the above! LOL is a multipurpose expression! LOL
