Tomorrow ( 17 February), we should expect the lifting of the review embargo, per rules of the Berlinale --

I hope it is as good as it looks. I want to see a good movie and a proper sendoff for the character, especially since his individual movies haven't been the best.

I'm conflicted about this film. It looks good, I've been wishing for an R-rated Wolverine movie for years now, I like Hugh Jackman and Wolverine.... but somehow I don't feel excited for this movie. I look at the trailers, can't see anything wrong with them, heck they look good from what I can tell.... and yet all I could think about is "meh". Anyone else feel this way?

This looks really great so far and it has such huge potential. I'm just really hoping for 2 things.
1. That wolverine is tricked to killing the X Men. This happens in the comic and is just so tragic and emotional and this being seen on the big screen is very important for me.
2. This is a personal thing I want but I need to see a scene in an R rated Wolverine movie where he is so angry or distraught that he uses his own claws on himself trying to end his life but fails because he heals up and gives up because he has no choice. This could be so amazing and I really need to see this scene in the movie.

It is amazing how so many fans ( and even non-XMen fans) have so many different expectations from this movie.
Another question in fans's minds is whether this film closes the saga on Wolverine? Will he die ??
Not too long now -- *The movie premieres today ( Feb 17) and reviews are expected right after when the embargo lifts *Fans who were lucky to have seen advance screenings (I think there was one/or two in the LA area...and also in New York) have been reporting universal delight with the movie on social media. *A surprise character turns up to liven things up! No, I don't mean any of the first trilogy cast or even Deadpool but a completely unexpected one! *What's to happen to Prof X as well?
We'll see...

I hope this film rocks, so far I haven't loved any of the solo Wolverine movies.

Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor that this takes place in an alternate universe?

Only 1 rotten review so far. Sitting at 96% I think it'll end around 95-99%.

Yeah its great. Basically a road movie with action throughout, and a typical climax. Don't want to spoil what happens to Wolverine. I have to say it was an exceptionally sad movie

It's good that FOX decided to take some risks with this one. It would hard to be sit through another Wolverine movie as watered-down as the first two.

While I want to be excited to see this movie I just can't bring myself to be. I think I still need more time to heal after the shit show that was Apocalypse. I think I need more time before going into another X-Men themed movie. I'm glad it's getting great reviews as I hope the film is good and a proper way to send off Jackman as Wolverine it's just I'm currently not excited to see it.
The one promising thing I do have though is some people whose opinions I usually agree with were praising the film.

Here's a clip of Dafne Keen ( only 9 years old in this clip, 11 when she filmed the movie) who plays X-23 in LOGAN --
She speaks with an English accent because she is the daughter of English actor Will Keen while her mother is Spanish!
