Are you not aware there are other types of understandings of God outside of a personal anthropomorphic one?

Do you believe that it's not possible to feel that something written on Wikipedia isn't a clear explanation of a concept? Can you admit that some 'clear explanations' apparently elude you? You're not thinking that they're factually clear or not, are you?

Are you not aware there are other types of understandings of God outside of a personal anthropomorphic one? Yup. So any examples of ones aren't all that easy to dismiss, compared to the ones that are "absurd in their presentation once held up to the light of rationality"?

BTW, I'm glad to know you agree with the gist of my point- "...whether or not something is logically possible hinges on having some understanding of what we're even talking about, some idea about the properties of the things in question..."

-Terrapin Station"We're discussing belief in god... what facts are you referring to?" What in the world? How can you be confused about that already? I'm asking you if you believe whether something is clear is a fact rather than an opinion.

I'm asking you if you believe whether something is clear is a fact rather than an opinion. There's something odd about your sentence structure... not sure what you're asking

This thread has become funny. Well, it started out pretty weird, from the OP.

Tells me all I need to know. Thanks. Cool... please tell me what this told you... If you couldn't understand the earlier sentence there's no way I'm going to assume you'll understand any sentence.

Well, you did start it with your pic. Hmmmm... and here I was thinking his deflecting sarcasm- Repeating the chorus:
"And not once can they answer you with any clarity."
Maybe you were confusing whether something has any precedence or respect in some contexts with the idea of clarity?
-was what started it.

I believe some examples were listed above, not that they should be needed unless you're looking to change the subject.

One of you was still on point, one of you was posting ad hominem pics. This- Maybe you were confusing whether something has any precedence or respect in some contexts with the idea of clarity?- is not 'on point'. It is actually deflection from the point. The explanation of Pantheism, from Spinoza to now in the link, is clear... a clear explanation of 'what the fuck' it can mean if one says 'some say the entire universe is god'
