I never cared much for The Beach Boys during their days of monster hits (mainly 1962 to 1969, with a comeback in the late 1970s totaling 14 #1 hits and 35 total on the Billboard Top 40). Well, the guys are mostly in their 70s now and this video, shot at a recording studio in 2016 is a great one that I keep watching over and over. Two founding members, Al Jardin and Brian Wilson (both 73 or 74 years old) recreate a breakout hit from their 1966 album Pet Sounds. The tall beefy guy on the left who sings the falsetto voice part is Jardin’s son, Matt.
Didn’t like their music much back then but the Old Beach Boys are a hit with me now.
If we take the time to see with the heart and not with the mind, we shall see that we are surrounded completely by angels. We shall see them and feel them dancing; always dancing in the flesh. ~ Carlos Santana
