My apologies, though I am amazed at your arrogance in thinking I would automatically know what your acronym stood for. I googled and found a prescribed medication for mental illness and it seemed apt in your case. I have only one thing to say to you. Drugs are illegal for a reason and it is in the public interest. I do trust the experts who make them such because no offence, you are a druggy idiot, who plays Russian roulette with his mental and physical health. BTW I don't pretend to know much about drugs except I would only use them therapeutically on expert advice and not recreationally, or in believing that they led me to God LOL. "Drugs are illegal for a reason" Yes, that reason is money and lobbyists. Big Pharma, tobacco, alcohol, and the privatized prisons make profits from keeping them illegal, so they spend millions (probably billions actually) lobbying to protect their interests. Look! This is no big deal to me. I happen to think that marijuana should be legalised, for one. I am just debating with someone ( hopefully you have read his thought on the subject of psychedelics posted recently) of the dangers of stuffing up you mind and body with illegal drugs which by their very nature are uncontrolled in terms if dosage, quality, authenticity and provenance. You are aware that he claimed that he actually saw God, right?

I'm not on any prescribed drug. RPN stands for 'Registered Psychiatric Nurse'. Also, just because a drug is illegal does not mean it's harmful. Nobody has ever overdosed and died from Magic Mushrooms, for example. In fact, I've been working in mental health and addictions for 15 years and never met anyone addicted to LSD or Mushrooms or DMT (psychedelics). It's because they aren't addictive. Cocaine, heroin and especially meth are illegal for good reason, they ruin people's lives and can be cut with fentanyl, which has been killing people at an unprecedented rate in BC. No offence, but I'm MUCH more knowledgeable about drugs and their effects on people than you are. It can be frustrating when someone negatively judges someone else while at the same time working from a position of obvious ignorance. Alcohol is illegal in much of the world and was where I live for years. When it was illegal was anyone using it a 'druggy idiot'? And now that's it's legal are they not 'druggy idiots'? Alcohol is legal and ruins many peoples lives. Ever heard of a person overdosing or getting addicted to magic mushrooms? Thinking that if something is legal or not tells you if it's harmful or not is erroneous.

Illegal drugs can be harmful. Making them legal does not change their effects in any way.

If you're still lumping all 'illegal drugs' together without classifications and knowledge of the distinctions between them then my point is not a non-sequitur. You're still lumping meth in with LSD just because they're both illegal, otherwise you'd be making distinctions between different drugs and classes of drugs. Like I said before, you lack even rudimentary knowledge of drugs and thus your opinion is ignorant. That's partly why you're judgemental, because you're coming from a position of ignorance.

I would add to that 'Drugs' can be therapeutic, or destructive in any number of ways. Let me put it this way....as a sensible responsible person I would never introduce a substance into my body without knowledge. For this I would do researching its effects and trust my doctor and/or pharmacy. On a case by case basis this is all the knowledge I need personally. Well done you, you have additional knowledge ( which IMHO has made you a little cocksure) if you put substances into your body that are NOT fully researched, as you claim to have done, with the psychoactive/psychadelic drugs, you are an idiot druggie.

You do realize that they can't research the drugs without people volunteering to trials? Are those people idiots too? I'm wary of people who are quick to judge others as idiots.

People who participate in trials should be made totally aware of what the trial drug is being used for, if that is worth their level of risk are or even could be, and what the known side effects in animal testing etc. If you are testing an anti cancer drug and you have cancer, there is an element of risk butt possible benefit for yourself and others in the future. If you are testing hallucinatory drugs, you have to be very clear about the risk and cost to yourself and the benefit, if any for yourself and others in the future.
