Season 2 starts tonight. Is anyone else a fan of this show here? I found season 1 to be pretty addictive but critics seemed to have mixed opinions which seemed odd to me. The pilot did seem like the series would be a straight soap operaish drama about the machinations of a billionaire media empire family. It's sort of that but in a Bizzaro setting where almost everyone is a despicable person. Not in a "he's kind of a jerk" way but in a "it would be fitting if someone raped that douchebag for a week then peeled the skin off his body" way. Did I mention it's also hilarious? Also it has the best theme music on TV. What y'all think about the show? hi224 you watch everything. Do you like it?

Was it the convenient way Kendall's plans were derailed again? After the finale and the season 2 premiere, I'm actually feeling some sympathy for Kendall

After the finale and the season 2 premiere, I'm actually feeling some sympathy for Kendall it felt very rushed, like a development needed more buildup, it felt like a convenient way for writers in resetting the plot as well.

I guess the writers wanted Kendall to still be with the Roy's for the upcoming takeover battle. It also plays into Kendall's never ending string of bad luck.

Just watched the season 2 premiere.
It was great.
I think last season wound up being my favorite show last season and iot was frustrating people weren't talking about it at the time. Now the buzz has caught up with it's greatness.
The opening theme is truly fabulous and is likely in my top five of all time, but the score for the whole show makes the show all the better.

I don’t feel sorry for anyone. They all seem to be horrible people.
But that doesn’t mean they aren’t interesting.

Kendall is still an asshole jerk...but then so is the whole family. Yet there’s something poignant in his character. I think the audience wants him to be eventually be redeemed. I don’t think any of them are qualified to lead except the dad who is too old fashioned. The only thing in their favor is they are heirs but they would all lose the empire. They are too self absorbed. Shiv is the smartest though.

I think he wants her to leave the presidential campaign. She had some pretty wild ideas.

She had some pretty wild ideas. I think he's playing her too. Shiv is not necessarily the smartest but she is definitely the most manipulative, she has a never ending arsenal of smirks, sneers and come hither looks that can enslave most of the men around her. Her weakness is she has never been tested and punished like the guys have. They are all spoiled but you get the feeling the males have all suffered greatly at Dad's hand while Shiv was a rotten little Princess that never heard the word no. Logan won't trust someone untested and I doubt he would trust any woman regardless. Kendall seems to be the heir who most wanted to actually follow in Logan's footsteps and the one who most wanted to bring the company into the modern tech savy world. Not sure if Connor was put through the same rigors as the other males. He seems to be "special" tho.
