In the summer I enjoy sweet tea and watermelon, in the winter - hot tea and soup. My favorite all season drink is just nice, fresh water.

Yeah ... the summer fruits are great. We don't have a persistent heat issue in the summer, but the watermelon, apricots, nectarines and plums are at their best. I could live on them. In some stores, they're available year-'round. But, for either the northern, or southern hemisphere, they're best during the local season. I don't know how early they have to be harvested for long distance transport, but they don't have the same robust flavor.
Winter is all about the availability of Dungeness crab. "Cracked" steamed crab, crab cioppino, crab-Louie salads ... winter heaven. I, also, like to make stews and soups.

visinada (sour cherry drink). I like it with really REALLY cold water and I also like to put some of the sour cherries (boiled in a simple syrup - like cranberries) into the glass. Also good with diet gingerale or sparkling water. For winter, a really good beef barley soup.
