RIP
Agree he was very good in LILITH - am reading the novel in preparation for another look at the movie - new blu ray.
Another good one not yet mentioned - his turn as the dog loving newbie in THE VICTORS Can't say I cared much for EASY RIDER but about time I gave it another spin...

R.I.P. Mr. Peter Henry Fonda and thanks for entertaining us all these years. I remember him most for his standout role as the creepy cult leader, Kirklander, in Split Image (1982). That movie came along at a vital time in my early movie fandom. I was just beginning to appreciate great acting and movies and here was this guy who could creep you out with just a look, not saying a word. He and James Woods were both outstanding, talk about opposing politics though now! I still haven't seen him in his Oscar nominated role in Ulee's Gold (1997), I need to try and find that movie once and for all.

"It was with great sadness that I learned of the passing of Peter Fonda. Peter and I worked together on several pictures and I have always considered him to be one of the finest actors I have ever directed, but more than that, he was a good person. As I travel through life I am more and more aware how wonderful it is for a person to be simply good. My condolences to his family. Peter will always be an inspiration to all of us."

Hoo boy, his story in THE VICTORS is bleak bleak bleak.
THE DIAMOND MERCENARIES is pretty good as a 70s action heist flick.
