it honestly felt like its writers went "oh gee how cute and ironic and self aware would it be to have 11 year olds cussing in a movie." problem is way too many scenes felt tawdry and insipid as far as being funny goes. I got a few laughs, but wish it had focused more on the thematic aspect of how friendships sometimes dissolve as you grow older more as well.

Not really surprised as anything that Seth Rogen is attached to, I am usually not a fan of(as I think he is a comedic hack) . Was Jacob Tremblay good in this at least? I think he is one talented kid actor.

Seth Rogen is comedic poison. If he’s involved, it’s probably annoying fluff that thinks it’s cool and edgy.

And I agree with ya on your point that most of these improv scenes end up shitty and go on for too long for their own good.
