Role reversal was supposed to be not only hilarious but also mirror everyday life.
(Like Lucy or Ethyl EVER made a seven layer cake for dessert every night!!!)

Hollywood glamorizing Incest. People like to attack movies now for finally having some positive LGBT representation in them but never said a word about the hundreds of movies we have had with incestuous relationships in them that were portrayed normally and sexually for people's entertainment. I must have not been paying attention! What films are you talking about that had glamorized incestuous relationships in them? I'm not saying they aren't there, I just have never heard or noticed this. Any time I saw anything like that, it was shown as a very negative thing, as it should. Well, I probably shouldn't have said Hollywood but the film industry in general and I am talking about movies like 'The Dreamers', 'The Hotel New Hampshire', 'Blue Lagoon', 'Cruel Intentions 2', 'Crimson Peak', 'High School Musical', 'Kate & Leopold', 'Go', 'Lone Star', 'The Hamiltons', 'Father's Day', 'Oldboy', 'August: Osage County', 'Red Riding Hood (2011), 'Deadfall', 'Close My Eyes', 'The Dark Side of Love', 'Innocent Lies', 'Hellboy II: The Golden Army', 'The House of Yes', 'White Fire', 'L.I.E.', 'The Royal Tenenbaums', 'Haunted', 'Feed', 'Blood', 'Ma Mere', 'Fun (1994), 'Sixteen (1973)' etc that have all had incestuous relationships, incestuous themes or hints of incest going on between brothers and sisters and cousins and nobody complained about the obvious incestuous relationship in 'The Dreamers' 'cause they were too busy talking about Eva Green being naked and in fact there were gross guys writing on comment sections the brother was lucky too and they would love to be her brother and on the old IMDB Board for 'The Hotel New Hampshire there were members saying Jodie Foster was so hot in the movie if she was their Sister they would have sex with her too which made me want to puke.
It seems when we have incestuous movies like that if the actress is attractive it gets a lot of supporters who fantasize about the actress being their sister or cousin and then we get movies where a male has incestuous sex with two sisters where the male character is praised up for doing it and it is disgusting and I would never have a threesome with my Sister. In fact, nobody I know would and it seems to be a perverted male fantasy movies have cooked up.

Decorating your home (especially your kids' bedrooms) with images of sad-faced hobo clowns. I remember stuff like this when I was a kid. Hanging on wood paneled walls.

Smoking on airplanes! I once flew on an older, smaller plane in the Caribbean, it had a built in ashtray in the arm rest, just like older cars used to have. Man, those must have been the good ole days (cough cough). Smoking in airplanes must have been banned around the late 80s/early 90s. I remember it being still allowed on flights I took when I was very young. On the same vein, smoking in restaurants! It wasn't that long ago that it was banned here in Canada, but by now the non-smoking rule is so ingrained that it was a complete shock to see people smoking in restaurants and cafés in Japan two years ago. Kids were allowed to smoke at my high school (in a designated smoking area).
