Disney, as greedy as they are, they’re more reliable. Have you seen what they did to Star Wars?

Is this poll about who’s better or who’s side we take in the Spider-Man debacle?
Because a lot of these responses are about the fact that the MCU is better than Sony’s failed Spider-verse with Andrew Garfield. That has nothing to do with the fact that Disney messed this up because they’re too arrogant and greedy.

Tacking on homophobia just destroyed any point you made. Might as well complain about Jewish people. So what you are saying is you are ok with a gay Spider-Man that no one was asking for in the first place, anyone who is ok having Spider-Man turning gay is not a real marvel fan. Congrats you just played yourself! Ooooh now with that attitude I hope we do get a gay Spider-Man. Maybe a Bisexual/Pansexual one? Hopefully they make Mary Jane Watson Transgender!

Liar. And yes, I have no problem with a gay Spider-man because I don't have a problem with gay people. I'd have no issue with MJ being Michael Jane. Congratulations. I just played you. That might be fine for you but most would disagree, but I'm not worried about it anyway. Sony did the right thing by getting him out of there before Disney made him woke. It's stupid to turn a fictional character gay just for no reason at all other then trying to score woke points. Disagree. Fictional characters can be anything for any reason. That's why they're fictional. I'm not worried either. Sounds like there might be a new deal being reached between Disney and Sony. So we may get a gay Spider-Man some day.

Make the most watchable films in the franchise since 1983 Bring in a whole new generation of fans? Including little girls wanting to dress up like the heroine? Or satisfying some of the old generation of fans that thought it was over after ROTJ but then got the old films deleted, new versions released, the cluster fuck prequels, droids and ewoks animated shows and the awful Ewok TV series. I'd take Disney's SW output over the non-Disney Lucasfilm SW output after Jedi in a heartbeat

If they’re going to make a character gay then they should make a new character. It makes no sense to retcon an established character’s sexuality. It’s like all these gender-swapped reboots. Stop messing with established franchises and create a new one with the characters you want.

Congrats you just played yourself! Not really. Nobody said there were plans to make Spider-Man gay. Peter Parker is literally with MJ now in the movies. I mean I’d understand your complaint if it were to ever happen but it hasn’t and I doubt it ever would. At least not Peter Parker.

Disney since I don’t know how well Sony will do on their own with Spidey in the future. It ain’t like we’re getting a sequel to SM3 or TASM2 to continue those stories in a conclusive manner, so just let Marvel focus on the Holland films.

I don't get his argument here. Disney is the ones making the Spider-man movies now. He isn't gay in the current movies.

I didn’t even realize it was you I quoted until it was too late. You were doing so good with a civil response, too! Then you ruined it at the end with whatever that nonsense is. I wasn’t being nasty or provoking, so why do you feel the need to be?
