Yea np, and I also forgot to add Life of Agony on 9/15 to that list, it was early in the morning when I typed that so I wasn't really awake yet, lol.. so revised:
4/18: Buckethead
4/28: Powerman 5000
5/2: The Sword
5/19: MMRBQ
5/24: Helmet/Prong
6/6: Dance Gavin Dance
6/9: Wednesday 13
6/26: Suzzane Santo
8/23: Descendents
9/8: Glenn Hughes
9/15: Life of Agony
10/5: Kansas
And, tomorrow morning I'm getting my ticket for Goo Goo Dolls on 10/12, they're doing a 20th anniversary of their 98 album "Dizzy Up the Girl", one of my favorite albums in h.s., definitely don't want to miss that
aand, there's a big tour of 80s bands with A Flock of Seagulls, Men Without Hats, Wang Chung, and a bunch others coming to the E Factory on 9/29, I'd like to see A Flock of Seagulls, the other 2 I only know 1 song of, and all the others I don't think I'm familiar with, so I'll have to look them up to see if it's something I'd want to go to

Yea I remember seeing that the tickets were a bit costly, so I'll have to give the other bands a listen to see if it's something I'd like to spend the money on

I've been wanting to see Flock of Seagulls for a long time and Naked eyes too. Men without hats would've definitely sealed it for me so I'll have to think about it

Buckethead was good last Wednesday night, but he took forever to start, was supposed to go on at 8 and didn't start till like 9:10, so that was a bit annoying, but he was still good nonetheless.. I don't know if I would go out of my way to see him again though, knowing that he takes that long to start

Are you sure it wasn't the venue though? That happens a lot.

Great time on Saturday, Powerman 5000 were great, and I did yet another VIP meet & greet, got down there right at 4:30, when I was told to get there, and of course I'm the only VIP attendee other than 2 other guys, lol.. but it wasn't so bad, they were cool guys, Air Force vets, one stationed in NJ and one in DE, I hung out with them in the Electric Factory parking lot to kill time, then we went back over to the Voltage Lounge around 5, and of course they didn't let us in till like 5:40, lol.. so then we did the VIP session, with getting to watch the soundcheck and then getting to meet them and get a signed poster and a pic, really nice guys.. I kinda felt bad that we were the only 3 VIPs there, but I guess it wasn't so bad, it was nice and quick and didn't take too long.. So then after the VIP we had to go back out and come back around 7, when they opened the doors to all attendees, so I went 2 blocks down to the Yards Brewery to kill time (Philadelphia brewery that used to be down by Penns Landing, now moved to a bigger location on Spring Garden Street), I really liked that place, I already ate before I came down so I wasn't hungry but they looked like they had good food, and I love Yards beer but I didn't really feel like drinking so I just had a root beer float, their root beer is good too.. But, I'll remember the place for when I have a Saturday E Factory or Voltage Lounge show So then I walked back down to the Voltage Lounge and the show began, and now here's my band-by-band review: The first one was a local opener, the South Jersey metal/hardcore band They Call Us Death, they were good but during their set they were throwing all this wacky stuff into the crowd- foam noodles(the big long ones kids use in pools), confetti, and for some odd reason a tube of lubricant, which fell onto the floor and then some jackass stepped on it causing it to squirt and it got on my shoes and pants, I looked down and noticed it and thought it was beer at first, but then saw it looked sticky, I asked someone what the heck it was and then they told me it was lube.. Luckily it washed out of my pants, and I scrubbed it off my shoes, hopefully they should be dry by now... Lol, that was kinda funny but odd Then the next band was Lullwater, really good hard rock band from GA, I saw a few of their members earlier helping with the soundcheck but I didn't know it was them at the time, really good band, I would definitely see them again and then finally, PM5K, really good, I was getting tired by the time they were on but I still enjoyed them... Overall, a really fun day And, regarding my Uber home, the original cost was 82, but I luckily bought a pass that cut down the amount to 33, it's only a limited time pass that lasts for 28 days, but that's fine, 82 is way too high, I know it can be costly late at night but I've never payed that much, 60 at most

Got my ticket for Def Leppard in October here in Hawaii. Supposedly, this is the only North American show where they will be playing the entirety of their "Hysteria" album. They are then off to New Zealand, Australia and Japan, where The Scorpions will be opening for them! (I would think it would be reversed, but oh well.) I just saw Def Lep last year in Vegas, but I'm ready to see them again.

Sorry about all that gunk you got on your pants and all that. I hate when bands do that. I am not familiar with these bands and I'm not sure If I've listened to powerman 5,000. I always hear about them. That sounds like kind of a long evening but worth it.

I can't make it to those this year. the Scorps! One of my favorites. It's been a couple of years since I saw them. Def Leppard is just so huge I'm not too surprised

M3 Rock Festival 2018 review:
I got to the hotel around 4pm Thursday, after getting slightly lost, but no problem. This was a nice and more quiet Red roof than I usually stay at for the fest. The other one has people partying and drinking and playing music on the balcony, and also some undesirables that walk around the lot at night and pan handlers sometimes. So this was a nice step up. Plus it saved me 80 dollars in the room rate.
But anyways, Thursday night was a pre party show at a bar not too far from the amphitheater that has been a nice tradition for the last 8 years. The beers were only $4 which was especially awesome. Met some good people from all over the country and some old friends that I usually see there. A lot of good bands that played that night and this time it ended around 12:30 which was perfect for me. Got my uber for 16 dollars back to the hotel and saw my friend who just drove in.
Day 1 of the fest was Friday and it was 90 degrees out there. Unfortunately my seats were smack in the middle of the aisle which I HATE. I feel like a prisoner and a real pain to get out every time I need to go to the bathroom or buy beer.
Pretty Boy Floyd: Not bad, but not a big fan of them
Nelson: Pretty good band.
Faster Pussycat: Not a fan
Y&T: Awesome! This was the band I wanted to see most.
Kix: really good but I've seen them way too many times and they've played every year since 2009.
Tom Keifer: Vocalist of Cinderella. Excellent set as always. Overall a great night of music though previous years there were more bands I liked than this year.
Day 2:
Had to go early because my friend is a Warrant fan and they were up at 11:45am. Ouch. I slept like crap and drank soo much the night before, but I was ok after the first couple of beers.
Warrant: Not a fan
Great White: Awesome. Really good set
Last in line: Kind of a Dio tribute band which were great.
Lynch Mob: Awesome. One of my favorite bands of the day
Slaughter: Really good. Seen them many many times and they didn't disappoint
Stryper: Not a fan so I just hung out on the side drinking and getting food.
Ace Frehly: Pretty good set but I was kinda tired at that point so I didn't get the full effect of the set. I had to take a little break.
Night Ranger: Incredible! Always great to see them.
Queensryche: Another amazing set for their 35th anniversary. I rocked my balls off for that set. Great way to end that amazing night.
Day 3: This was the southern rock part of the fest. I was flying solo this time because my friend only stayed for the 2 days but I was not going to miss this one. Unfortunately the crowd was real small on this day. All the people from day 1 and day 2 were not coming to Southern Rock day.
Atlanta Rhythm section: Great band, my first time seeing them. They're opening for Lynyrd Skynrd this year so it was good to check them out before that show.
Georgia Satellites: Pretty good. A lot of their stuff was kind bluesy like Johnny B. Good and all that. But really good band.
The Outlaws: The show stealer right there. Amazing
Blackberry Smoke" Another awesome band that I'd seen before
Marshall Tucker band: Real good but tiring by that point and they do a lot of jams and stuff. I needed that one extra beer to give me that boost to make it through the set. But overall day 3 was great and I had my own row with nobody bothering me. Luckily being it wasn't crowded it was easy for me to find a spot to uber it back to the hotel.
Overall another amazing fest. I think I drank enough beer to drown a small country but I had a blast and the music was great. Not as big of a turn out this year and I really prefer when they use the side stage in the woods so you can watch out in the open air with a beer stand within a few feet. But still awesome and we hardly got any rain at all.

The first Def Lep show sold out in a week, so they added another. Hopefully, this will encourage others to make this stop en route/back from Europe/Asia/Australia. We're starved for this type of concert here. (I do prefer seeing my bands in Las Vegas, though.)
