Did anybody find this weird in the movie? As a person who was never the biggest fan of MCU villains. I think they did thanos slightly better in infinity war to their usually terrible villains. It felt as if all was lost in endgame. thanos seemed very week and one dimensional but I had to laugh when wanda beat him up.Magneto could barely kill a sentinel in DOFP, Superman could barely kill one amazon in flashpoint but Wanda can beat up thanos?
What I have never liked about mcu movies is how the villains all come off as weak and easy to kill. I think its childish superhero story telling. The final battle from a story point in endgame is atrocious. its may be eye candy for fans but it is still atrocious.
I don't remember DOFP fully but did any mutant manage to beat up one sentinel, but most Avenges can beat up not just thanos alien shipped armies from space but thanos himself. It was fun and understandable when they did this with loki and his chitauris, it was still kind of fun but worrying when they did the same with ultron and his Ultronites by Endgame it has not just gotten repetitive, it has shown avengers storytelling is beyond limited.
Endgame needed to ditched what they already did in the first two avengers movies and given us a thanos space court drama after infifnty war. Shame that this MCU series never grew up with the story.

Not quite. Thanos was powerful enough to hand Hulk his ass, a character who was supposed to be like the top dog up until Thor Ragnarok. He also alone ended up defeating Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Drax, Star Lord, Nebula and Iron Man. In Endgame he again overpowered Captain America, Thor and Iron Man.
It's just Scarlet Witch is supposed to be particularly powerful, even the Russo's said back in 2016 that she was the most powerful Avenger, more so than even Thor. She ripped through Ultron's Vibranium and overpowered Vision who was shown to be every bit as strong as Thor.
So Thanos ain't weak, Scarlet Witch is just powerful but also a glass cannon.

Endgame was just all over the place powerwise. Completely threw consistency out the window.

Scarlett Witch's powers are not about physical strength like Hulk. Her power is "magic" (for lack of a better word). In the comics she has always been one of the most powerful Avengers because her powers are just plain freaky. Also, Thanos did not have the Infinity stones so it is not comparable to his battle with Doctor Strange et al.
It's the same way Superman is vulnerable to magic. It doesn't make him less powerful.
Weakest man with a gun can beat the strongest man without one.
