Yes, it was alright but particularly disappointing that it was significantly changed from the comics.

Yes, they did the best they could but the comics remains a superior Hush story.
The best part of the movie was the Bat/Cat romance. It's very possible they are setting the DC animated universe for the Bat/Cat wedding.

I haven’t gotten around to seeing it, but it doesn’t sound very exciting from what I’ve heard. I wish I understood why we’re still getting films in the current animated continuity. I just can’t muster up excitement for any films in that universe at this point.

It was pretty good, I don't mind them differing from the comics because that's part of the point of an adaptation, if they didn't alter things people would bitch about how uncreative they were.
That being said I prefer the comic ending of Hush myself, Batman choosing to not be with Catwoman due to his inability to truly trust her or the relationship due to what went on is far more compelling imo than Catwoman choosing not to be with him because of his inability to ignore his code, that is who Batman is, her not getting that makes the relationship less significant because she's apparently oblivious to such a cornerstone of who Bruce is.
It was less convoluted than the comics but it lacked the impactful ending, I think the comic is the better story overall but the movie has it's bright spots also.

It's fair if you don't like them, not everyone will or should be expected to, but the don't understand why we keep getting them bit makes me chuckle, we get more because there is a demand for them, hopefully you atleast enjoy the other films they release.
What about the shared continuity films do you dislike btw?

Is there really that much of a demand for them? People seem pretty indifferent to them for the most part. As for what I dislike, honestly, the entire setting just strikes me as boring. The character designs aren’t good (what is up with Wonder Woman’s outfit?), the voice acting ranges from passable to dull, I don’t like what they did with characters like Deathstroke and Hal Jordan, I don’t like the amount of focus that Damien Wayne often gets, and I’m not a big fan of how much the early films took after the New 52. There have been a couple of films in the setting that I enjoyed, but for the most part, I think they’re pretty bland.

People keep buying them, and I dunno the last one I heard getting shit on really was The Killing Joke and that wasn't in universe, I think the continuity helps newer fans follow along, like a lot of the big titles if you don't read the comics can be like ok so where are we in this which version of Batman is this? but with the shared continuity we know it and can follow along easier.
I agree about Damien and I feel that way about Batman stuff in general, with Damien though I think they have learned a little as he only has a cameo in Hush and we haven't seen him since Judas Contract where he was pretty useless in that, I don't mind Damien but I don't think he needs to be the focus of stuff, I prefer him as a supporting character in the films that way his shtick doesn't get too old too fast, but they made the mistake initially of making him the focus of 3 out of 4 movies in under a year so that's an easy way to burn people out on the character.

Yeah, I wasn't a big fan of the changes myself.

Aside from places like Redbox, the movies can also be watched on ITunes.
Also, I suppose that if anyone is interested, there is an animated Wonder Woman movie set in this universe that’s coming out next month.

While Hush could have been better than it was, I would say the movie best parts overshadowed some of the weak parts.
If you are a Riddler fan, the movie is for you.

I found the movie enjoyable. I was awaiting the reveal only to be surprised they differed from the comic and I was happy they did otherwise it wouldnt have had the same impact on me it did. I liked how they incorporated it into the story and really made Riddler more dangerous. As a Riddler fan I was all for it.

I'm surprised they haven't done one already with the success of the live action film. The 2009 animated film was also pretty good.

Probably was put in motion not long after the live action movies success but animation takes a while, mostly likely was well under way long before it got announced at SDCC 2018 seeing as I think they announced Hush at the same time, as for the 09 film it apparently got scrapped due to "slow" sales despite overwhelming critical praise.
