What are some of your favorite "ready to pop in the oven/microwave" sort of frozen meals that you like? I recently bought a microwave and have started using it occasionally. I used it last night to heat up a small tray of Stouffer's Cheddar Potato Bake, and it was really good. I was super busy and didn't have time, much less inclination, to do much cooking, so it was a nice way to get a convenient meal. I'll have to start looking for other things to try.
Anyway, share your favorites here if you got 'em.

I like michelinas. You can get about 10 of them for 10 dollars, and there are a large variety of them, garlic chicken, fetuccine alfredo, Swedish meatballs, manicotti, stroganoff, etc. When my niece, who is like a daughter to me was growing up I always kept a supply of michelinas in the freezer, since I rarely cook. She seemed to like them (of course there was other food too)but I always kept them on hand. She eventually learned how to cook for herself, turned 18 and moved out last year Those michelinas may or may not have had something to do with that

Microwaveable dinners are not worth it - they're usually very high in calories for such a small amount of food. My brother had this chicken teriyaki thing last night, it was 1000 calories for one meal. And if he had just chopped up chicken and made his own sauce, he could've easily cut the caloric value in half and gotten just as full. Not to mention the crazy high sodium and fat content. I don't know why the hell they make it so salty, how is it that people even eat that stuff? I don't understand.

if he had just chopped up chicken and made his own sauce ... I don't understand. Some people... don't have the time to cook from scratch... or want to clean a bunch of pots & pans... And so they just stick a dinner in the microwave for 10 minutes.
