Its interesting to see how much mirroring of ESB they are going for. Another big walker battle and Rey having some sort of a vision quest in a cave. I still think, with Rian Johnson at the helm, the finished film will not lack for originality. I just hope Johnson's originality isn't the "WTF was he thinking?" variety. Mark Hamill said he fundamentally disagreed with the direction Rian went with Luke.

They should have just let Mark Hamill write the whole trilogy. He knows and cares more about this franchise than anyone in charge. I'm worried that Luke is either made a complete poosy or he goes Dark.

It's not what I expected. What were you expecting? I think I was expecting more spectacle and bombast like what The Force Awakens did. This was much more a mood piece and as others said, it doesn't show much spoilers. It's definitely a Johnson picture. |

In TLJ's teaser, we already see: - Rey training under Luke in a location with lots of water - Resistance flying towards AT-ATs on a battlefield - Rey having a Force vision - Finn in some sort of medical device that loosely reminds me of Luke's bacta tank - Resistance base being attacked by the First Order |
