La Liga returns on 12 June. www.theguardian.com/world/live/2020/may/23/coronavirus-live-news-australia-hit-by-60bn-payout-error-as-trump-orders-places-of-worship-to-reopen?page=with%3Ablock-5ec931778f08a1782fa8043bSpain’s prime minister, Pedro Sánchez, has given the green light for football to return in the week beginning 8 June, allowing La Liga to go ahead with plans to restart the first division with the Seville derby on Friday 12 June. A formal announcement on the date of the return to competition will be made by the league’s president, Javier Tebas, in the next couple of days. Sánchez made the announcement during a press conference on Saturday afternoon in which he said the “worst has passed” and Spain was now at “the end of the tunnel”, allowing for a further relaxing of the state of alarm that was first declared on 14 March. “The time has come to recover some of the activities that were suspended,” Sánchez said. “I want to inform you that, in agreement with the CSD [the sports council] and the ministry of health, the government has given the Spanish professional league the green light to return to playing. From the week of 8 June, La Liga will return.”

Then they couldn't even beat Div 2 bound Bremen.

Gladbach at home is usually a tougher opponent for Bayern than Dortmund, I'd say.

Too bad that the German national anthem isn't played at the beginning of a German Bundesliga match...why don't they fight against poverty in Germany. Leiharbeit, Werkverträge, Entsendegesetz...what about this?!

That's good to hear! Napoli were looking promising a couple of seasons ago but have been a bit disappointing lately. But Coppa Italia is always good to have under your belt.

Bundesliga season comes to end.
Here are the teams that make next year's CL - Bayern, Dortmund, Leipzig and Carl's Gladbach
Teams that have been relegated - Paderborn, Dusseldorf.
Werder Bremen managed to survive automatic relegation. They will play in playoffs to decide whether they stay in Bundesliga for 40 straight seasons.
Lewandowski with 34 goals was the season's highest scorer. He did it in 31 games. Werner was next with 28 goals.

PS: I allowed myself to add the ü-Pünktchens @ Düsseldorf. France, do you see this?! I'm really tempted to write an e-mail to the french association...I'm already on their homepage.
