I think a lot of what I saw in that trailer looked really lame, visually and conceptually. I mean, those new ship designs are prequel lame if you ask me. And what more can they do with Kylo now that he doesn't wear a mask?? He's a whiny, evil Anakin-wannabe. Can a villain get anymore lame?

The trailer is attempting to be reverential and be something it's not. It looks pretty lame ass and average to me. Yes, like it comments that the Jedi must end, so must this series of SW feminist pandering dreck.

He was tasked with rebuilding something that was decimated decades ago and not only did he fail, but one of the reasons it didn't pan out was because of his own nephew. How would you expect him to act other than to be a drag? Maybe you're right. I don't know. I don't like Rey, so that could be coloring things as well. I'm just keeping my fi gers crossed its going to be awesome. What does you disliking Rey have to do with Luke in the trailer.

What does you disliking Rey have to do with Luke in the trailer. Because it seems like Luke will end up training Rey to be the next Jedi. At least, that is my guess about where that story-line is going. Rey brings Luke around to the force again after he turned into captain bring down...yada yada yada, Luke is now Obi-Wan. I'd prefer Luke to stay our Jedi Protagonist, and maybe Rey team up with Leia and Chewie.

My ideal fate for Rey in TLJ: How about something like this, just for all the militant feminazi SJW who want every film to cater to their agenda:

Except I don't want to see Daisy's androgynous, awkward body shoved into that getup. It would be... unpleasant to watch.

If you can't take a new protagonist, which has been hinted at since before 7 was even released, the new trilogy might not be for you.

OFF TOPIC: Does anyone else HATE the addition of "NOOOO!" as Vader picks up the Emperor in Return of the Jedi?? Could George ruin that character anymore?
