It's courtesy of Cosmicbooknews, so take it or leave it. But apparently Abrams is wanting to tackle the DC characters, starting with Superman and Green Lantern. He also just happens to be very close friends with Batman director Matt Reeves since childhood-did not know that. And the Arrowverse's adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths will affect the DCEU in some fashion too. cosmicbook.news/jj-abrams-apple-warner-media-dc

There is no way that the Arrowverse is going to have any impact on the theatrical films. The audience for those shows is far too small for that.

They created Felicity together and Reeves' made the first Cloverfield movie.

I'd rather they just keep it going. It's weird that there's like seven movies but it still feels like they've hardly gotten started yet.

I do think that the version of Justice League we ended up getting can sort of be seen as a “conclusion” of sorts, even though that was never really the intention when Snyder was involved. Superman’s big arc at the beginning of Man of Steel was him struggling to fit in, and wondering whether or not he’d be accepted by the people of Earth. In that regard, you could argue that since JL ended with Superman being seen as a hero, and him presumably being happy with his place in the world, that his arc was resolved.

There are rumors of one of the movie characters having a cameo in the Crisis TV story. Maybe this is wishful thinking. But the TV side got Tom Welling back, proper suit or not, and Burt Ward, and Kevin Conroy... I wouldn't rule out anything at this point.
