Fred Emery's - WATERGATE It is thee book on the biggest political scandal maybe ever. What sets this book apart from other Watergate projects is this book actually got all the players to talk. All were interviewed for this book and all finally came clean. (Nixon was dead when it was written.) And Watergate is NOT convoluted and enigmatic and difficult to follow. Emery's book lays it out step by step. A brilliant book. It's also fun as hell to read. At the time it wasn't, but now we can look back and see the whole Watergate scandal was (unintentionally) quite funny. The people involved - particularly Liddy and Mitchell and Mitchell's wife - were hilarious loons. The comedy of the scandal is in this book.
