Weird how neither Corey is on the poster. Isn't Haim in the back? Not quite clear. I definitely can't find Feldman. That is weird, indeed. A 9 for me, one of my favourite 80's movies. The music was great, story was fun. I still watch it from time to time.

It's okay. Never understood the hype or cult status. 7/10.

Solid 8/10 for me. An 80s classic and a great mixture of horror and comedy, while keeping it "real".
And, yes, that is Corey Haim in the poster, back row, second from right. I suspect Feldman isn't on the poster as he wasn't considered a main cast member at the time. His character is secondary to Haim's.

7/10 Entertaining horror adventure with a great cast, catchy soundtrack and some beautiful locations, plus the stunning Jami Gertz along with the hilarious concert scene with epic sax guy doing his thing earlier on.

Really a 7, but I added an extra point cuz it was filmed here in Santa Cruz. Anyone who's been to Santa Cruz for any length of time knows that folks like that really live here.

A-
A little too hyper directed/edited/cut whatever for my tastes nowadays, yet it remains classic 80's entertainment.
I was 9 when it came out, it seemed like a gateway from pre-teen to teen cinema for me. The fact of that hybrid casting/tone is a pretty impressive feat. Of course, it all seems more juvenile overall in hindsight, yet it did the job. Credit Schumacher, he was asked to make it an all kids movie. He suggested skewing older for several reasons, & it paid off.
