I've been putting it off too, though mainly Supergirl and Flash; I have no intention of watching Batwoman. Nothing I've seen for it has made me remotely inclined to want to watch it.

Thanks for the mention Jayman. Well, we have watched all the new DC Shows on Fox 8 this week taylorfirst1 except for 'Swamp Thing' which we are watching tonight and 'Arrow' which doesn't return until next week and first of all I am kinda disappointed with where they are heading with 'Supergirl' this season with Lena becoming a villain and they made it look like Lena had forgiven Kara when she finally told her she was Supergirl and explained why she had kept it from her for so long but as we later found out she is just putting on an act in front of Kara and is going to go after her now to get revenge. It still might change at some point 'cause she hasn't actually done anything to hurt Kara yet and when she does she might have a change of heart but if not I think that is one of the worst villain turns they have done in the show. I am looking forward to seeing where they are heading with Martian Manhunter's brother now Martian Manhunter knows about him and it looks like he is going to be staying around for a number of episodes and I am curious if he will stay a villain or turn good at the end 'cause I could see the writers making him good since he found out his brother doesn't even know who he is.
Secondly I am confused over what the Monitor said about Barry dying. I thought Oliver made some deal with him in the last crossover event to keep him and Kara alive and he would die in his place but according to the Monitor Barry has to die so is this the end of Barry and are they going to replace him with Bart Allen as Impulse next season or have a show with Nora as the main star 'cause they are not saying 'The Flash' is ending this season like 'Arrow.' Most of all I am interested in seeing Red Death this season and whether they have Bruce Wayne or Oliver Queen or another superhero I think Red Death could be a really good villain in this show if handled correctly 'cause we have never seen one of the heroes go up against a former hero that turned into a villain and Red Death being an alternate universe version of Batman in the comic books was one of the things that made him more of a threat 'cause he knew what the heroes were doing and how they would try and take him down and was one step ahead of them in some cases. We all know it is unlikely Bruce Wayne will appear so I suggested on another thread an alternate version of Oliver Queen could be a good replacement and would allow Stephen to stay in the 'Arrowverse.' I really hope they drop the split personality thing with Killer Frost though and just make Caitlin one person who can control the powers.
Last but not least I enjoyed Batwoman. It wasn't as good as ti could have been and Bette Kane's absence in the first episode was felt but I have seen multiple sites saying she will turn up at some point and they might have her join in Season 2 and then have her go on to become Hawkfire in that season or the third season. I am not really a fan of the actor who they have playing Luke Fox 'cause he comes across as being too geeky to be Batwing and Luke was never like that in the comic books but I will give him a chance and it is obvious he will become Batwing at some point in the show or they wouldn't have included him in it and I can see him putting on the costume to help Kate when she is outnumbered in an episode and needs backup. The Batman missing part is kinda confusing and I think they should have just said he had to leave to fight a threat with the Justice League in another country 'cause in the comic books he leaves Gotham when he does that which is one of the reason Gotham has other heroes but not mentioning Dick and Barbara and the other characters looked silly and is the biggest plothole in the show and while 'Titans' can't use Batgirl they have at least mentioned Barbara and when Kate was wearing the costume it would have made more sense for people to be confusing her for Batgirl than Batman. All in all I didn't think it was that bad but the lack of mentioning where Dick and Barbara went when we have Batgirl and Nightwing movies on the way hurts the show.

Reference Supergirl, I thought the whole Lena thing was overdone. Since when does a superhero have to apologize for having a secret identity?

I was mostly disappointed none of the shows wowed me, nothing special or all that interesting enough for season premiers happened, it all just felt more run of the mill hum drum for me, I think Batwoman may have been the best because I went in with such low expecations based on the actress, CW antics and crappy promotional work, but it was fine, nothing special but not a let down either, I disagree with you though @deblovesbeccy none of what you said is a plot hole or inconsistency imo, actually the lack of Dick and Barbara makes more sense honestly, the biggest plothole to me was how openly active Batman was, he's meant to be a myth based on Elseworlds set up, so him being so openly active is dumb, the lack of sidekicks made sense in to restrain the overflow of Bat-Fam characters like the comics, the issue is the openness of Batman contradicts the restraint of a Robin & Batgirl, what would make their lack of reference a plot hole is if we were told they had existed before hand, seems like they don't which makes sense, CW cannot use Robin or Nightwing is my guess due to Titans, and neither can use Batgirl because of reasons, I think you are mistaking personal preference for an actual flaw in the show, which I know I can do at times also, but we should be used to it at this point, 20 years of DC/WB tying on hand behind their shows back in regards to who and what they can and cannot reference, you'd figure we would be used to it by now right?
I do agree with Luke though, far too geeky, he should of been more like how James is in Supergirl, except not as boring, and James should have been more like this Luke, is it too late for them to just switch em and change their names? probably right?
Anyway Arrow starts next week hopefully it's running on all cylinders as the show doesn't really have the time to slowly rev up this season.

Have you seen 'Swamp Thing' yet 'cause Beccy and I watched that the other night and to add on to the things I have wrote about the shows we enjoyed that show the most out of the DC Shows and are really disappointed it was cancelled 'cause they could have done so much with it and Crystal Reed was great as Abby. I read they had plans to bring Zatanna into it in Season Two along with Constantine being played by Matt Ryan which would have connected 'Swamp Thing' onto the 'Arrowverse' but now we will never see what they planned on doing with them.

I have 5 more episodes to go. I could’ve binged it tonight but I felt like watching other things. I have not seen swamped thing. I have so many programs I’m watching that I don’t think I’d be able to squeeze another one in. Plus I still have to watch the third season of Jessica Jones 😁 I hope you are having a great weekend!

Reference Batwoman so far. The good; Ruby Rose and most of the cast are fine so far. The costume is good and will be better when they add the hair (the head doesn't look quite right without it). The action scenes are fine so far. The Bad: I am already hating this whole "the villain is her twin sister story line (UGH!)" She keeps acting like her Dad was the worst father in the world but in all the flashbacks he seems to be a pretty darn good father under the circumstances. Speaking of flashbacks, if I have to watch that car go off of that bridge 1 more time, I am going to throw something at the TV. It's only been 2 episodes and we've seen the car go off the bridge like 5 times already. I am also not crazy about this Crows organization thing. It's too surreal, no city would have a thing like that. Not good or bad: They seem to be trying to copy "Gotham" in tone quite a bit.
