The difference of opinions between movie critics and audiences has existed before Rotten Tomatoes, and that hasn't changed very much, for some movies and TV shows. Having said that, I will have seen Knives Out before the end of the first weekend. Whether it's still Certified Fresh or not.

But I thought Rian Johnson was a terrible director? Not based on his first three films.

The premise sounds interesting but the trailer didn't sell me on it. Sadly that's usually the case, it sounds good, until you actually see what it's going to look like.

For those who have seen it? Is it a comedy? How funny is it? Does it play like Clue or is there more to it?

For those who have seen it? Is it a comedy? How funny is it? Does it play like Clue or is there more to it? So... this is an interesting question. To me it was a murder mystery with some very quirky and off beat humor. I personally didnt laugh out loud more like grinned but my movie theater Roared with laughter for most of the movie... Somtimes annoyingly much so i couldnt hear all of the dialogue. for me it was highly entertaining more than funny but I dig the artistry in it and the fact I wasnt able to guess what was going to come next. Very cleverly told story.

Also I have to know, was Rian exaggerating when he said this was a really political movie? Someone said they went to a test screening of the movie and it wasn’t anti trump at all.

From what I read, the teenager moonlights as an alt rightie but that's all I've heard.
