The Astros have had their number the last 2 or 3 seasons. So, I say Astros in 5.

Obviously I'm rooting for the Astros, and I do believe they can win the series. However.....
Gotta see the pitching matchups, Astros should not fuck around with rushing Verlander and Cole, pitch them on normal rest. And whatever you do, seriously try to avoid having Zach Greinke pitch in the Bronx, at all costs.
Astros in 7, I hope.....

I have no hate for the Yankees, and am perfectly fine with them winning it (for the most part). Nonetheless, I really like the stacked Astros team, and I'd like to see how many World Series they can win in the next couple years. So I'm essentially rooting for them to win this series, and to re-sign Cole and see what they can do in 2020, 2021 and however much longer their window might last.

I really don't know, but the guy's always been a bit of a head case. After watching him get lit up in Tampa, I'm thinking he's gonna have a hard time at Yankees Stadium. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I trust Verlander and Cole much more in the Bronx. |
