You could add herbs/spices for sausage ... patties or links. I don't have a specific recipe, as I've always bought sausage, but there are gazillions of recipes available. Even if you didn't follow a set recipe, and just picked your favorite flavorings, it would probably be great.
You can enjoy the sausage, just as sausage, and/or add a bit of it to ground beef to perk up the flavor of meatloaf, meatballs, et al.

recipes? any and all are welcome! thanks. I get fresh ground pork all the time. It's easy to cook and it tastes great. One use: Cook it up in a skillet, season to taste, crumble it up, serve with mashed potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and gravy.
It's also good added to baked beans or chili, sort of as a "cheap eats" end of month food budget stretcher.

recipes? any and all are welcome! thanks. Just fried up a pork patty for dinner tonight. I put Swiss cheese on it and let it melt. It was delicious. BTW, I was busy with a few things and I totally forgot to put any seasoning on the pork while it cooked - not even salt. I gotta' say, it tasted great unseasoned, with just the melted Swiss cheese on it.

I usually mix it with ground beef and make stuffed peppers, stuffed cabbage, Swedish meatballs or meatloaf. I make garlic meatloaf seasoned with garlic and a touch of oregano with a lot of garlic cloves on the bottom of the pan. I used to make that with ground turkey when it was cheap.
