Yeah, they are very sweet, gentle doggies. I love labs, too.

Does this count? Otherwise, Shiba Inu Sure, why not? The expression on his face is adorable and hilarious.

Hard to say, as I've got quite a few.
Collies, Irish Setters, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Malteses, Pomeranians, Silky Terriers...

While I certainly like or love most of the breeds posters have already cited (who can resist a darling little Westie, for example?), I am actually nuts for mutts. I have never owned a purebred dog, but two of our family's dogs were Beagle/Fox Terrier mix, and two others were "schnoodles" (Schnauzer/Poodle mix). All of them came from pounds or animal shelters. By "mutts" I generally mean "randomly bred", but there are a few "designer dogs" that appeal to me--one of my favorites being a Puggle (Pug/Beagle)...though I have a feeling that if I had one of those, it would be giving me orders, on account of their renowned stubbornness. Here's a nice selection of mutts:

Here's a nice selection of mutts: Dogs are like people... It all depends upon the individuals involved and how they react to each other. I've been best friends with many, but there are always some you just don't get along with.

I thought that last one was a fetish... No no, it's a mix between a Poodle and a Cocker Spaniel. They're the most loving little furballs.

They're certainly adorable... although I've known a few other little fur-balls who were also very loving. Especially if I'd been away for any length of time.

Mongrels. Pure bred dogs are prone to genetic defects and less intelligent than mutts. QFT. I have an Eskimo and aftercwhat I've been through with his heakth I'd be hard oressed to get another pure bred. My muxed breed hasn't had any problems.

Mine is the West Highland Terrier! The Westie is the purest projection of happiness and innocence in this world of ours! Oh, Lordy, this little Westie is so cute, it should be a felony! My son had a Westie, when he was growing up......dumb as a stump, but hard not to love!! Sadly, she turned up dead (laying in her bed) one morning, at only eight years of age.....never having had any health issues in her short little life..... SAVE FERRIS
