With the Jints not playing today, NFL is facing a weak, little interest weekend of football. Thank God my good friend Roger Goodell has a fine brain so he is giving us Pat Mahomes III at one o'clock.
I will be wearing my Mahomes t-shirt (I actually ordered it the day he was drafted...but had to wait to see what number he would be wearing), and I will be enjoying the most revolutionary player in football history.

First victory for the Redskins. Chiefs with a second defeat.
49er vs. Rams could be the top game of the week.

One of the rare times we have ever rooted for the Jets. And they shocked the shit out of us by winning. But that last Cowboy drive with the insanity of six plays in a row with a penalty flag, the league has got to step in. Some were not penalties at all, some were questionable and no one would have complained had a flag not been thrown. The league can not have penalties on every play. Six plays in a row in what is to be the most exciting part of the game - a two minute drive? Not good. The men on the field have got to be allowed to play.

First victory for the Redskins. Chiefs with a second defeat. 49er vs. Rams could be the top game of the week. Strangely enough it was Jets v Cowbs. Who'd have guessed? Tomorrow night's game could be good too. But the Jets are no Super Bowl material, while 49ers vs. Rams was a bit like a pre-decision for their division. With 5-0 and 5-1 (Seahawkes) the Rams are as good as out of the play offs - imho. Goff the 100+ million man folded. The shock moment of the Jets vs. Cowboy is far greater, that is true, but not its overall outcome. The Cowboys have still far better chances than the Rams, and the Jets have proven not to be the utter laughing stocks if the league. I guess - after the Redskins won - it is either the Bengals, or the Dolphins. I'd say the latter. PS: And yes: my overall prediction for the Super Bowl was and is: Patriots vs. Cowboys...so a bit of a bias might be herein.
