I hope it's not a franchise installment. Despite my railing against Martin Scorsese's MCU comments, it's not without its point that standalone movies are becoming scarcer because companies like Disney funnel their money into creating omnipresent promotion and just generally dominate the pop-cultural psyche so it lingers even when they're not in theaters.
I'm sure there's franchise potential but I think it'd do better to stay on its own. Where else is there to go but the direction of Batman? Booting up Batman so soon after the Dark Knight trilogy just a couple years later was overkill, and now we're talking about doing it again? Live action Batman needs a break. I never watched Gotham, Ban Affleck was so miscast as Batman it hurts. Outside of the DC animated movies, Joker's the first product connected by 6 degrees of Batman I've enjoyed since The Dark Knight. Watch Batman v The Ninja Turtles if you have to but for the love of God, live action Batman needs to chill out for a bunch of years. Even the sharpest sword is no good if it's always drawn. A good sword comes out of its sheath only when necessary.
That's from Sanjuro.

You've been reported for bad language, trolling, flaming and detachment from reality. By all means report and continue acting like a brainless numpty, but that doesn't change the character that you clearly Like most of all is nothing but second fiddle to the wall crawling superiority of the worlds true and undisputed number One superhero, that's right the boy in the red and blue who is the ultimate, amazing and superior character the Worlds greatest superhero of all time, SPIDER-MAN!!
Maybe speaking more clearly will help you understand the reality you find yourself in, on this planet that we call Earth Spiderman is the most popular, the most profitable and relatable superhero, Batman is a very distant second.
Doubting this simply means you have disconnected from reality and are living in a completely fictitious and Imagined world where facts, such as those listed already do not matter because it clashes with your own Pathetic narrative where you had to literally add every additional film possible to one whilst at the same time Stripping away everything even remotely unconnected to the other, and even then all you mange to do is Help Batman barely close the gap between the two superheroes, all the while blatantly turning a blind eye and Ignoring the obvious fact that Batman even with supplemental financial support only barely equates to Spidey's Theatrical success by having over double the amount of films and averaging less than half as much as a Spidey film.
Nice. That's some originality you don't see every day.

JOKER is a franchise installment. Just a standalone continuity, but still part of the BATMAN FRANCHISE.
GOTHAM (2014-2019) was a big TV hit. All around the world. They rebooted Batman after 4 years since the Dark Knight Trilogy. 4 years are enough. People want Batman, he is the most popular superhero in the world. "Batman v Superman" was a smash-hit, and Affleck did a fantastic job, despite MCU-oriented critics smashed the movie (who cares? Nobody).
THE BATMAN is coming, and it will be vastly different from the other Batman movies. People want Batman. "Batman & Robin" (1997) apart, the quality of the Batman movies has always been great/stellar, so it's a bliss.
I guess you're ironic. That is one of the most moronic Internet posts I have ever read in my entire life.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman_in_filmSomeone added "Joker" (2019) to the list. Of course. There's still "Suicide Squad" (2016) and "Justice League: Batman & Wonder Woman" (2017) missing from that. This is it, guys. The Bat surpassed the Spider. And there are many other Batman Franchise installments coming soon... I bet Matt Reeves will deliver the best.

Oh poor boy no one cares what you think, because you think with your arsehole, which means all your thoughts are made of shit, like your opinions, now be a good little spaz and go play with yourself in the corner away from the others, no it's not for safety precautions, you shat your nappy again and you smell like Jason Voorhee's rotting undercarriage, so go on run along and be quiet.

About "Suicide Squad" (2016):
1- Joker is part of Harley Quinn's story in the movie, and Harley Quinn is the absolute icon and lead of the movie along with Deadshot.
2- Batman is featured in the movie. Great action scene.
3- Deadshot has been Batman's villain for MOST of his comic book life.
4- Batman was "coming" from a full blown BATMAN FEATURE FILM, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". Flash was a cameo at that point. No solo movie for him in the aftermath.
Result: this is a movie that clearly belongs to the BATMAN FRANCHISE.
I deeply respect the fact that kids love Spider-Man. All kids love Spider-Man. That's fair.

I pretty much know you didn't mean that as personal attack to me, neither I was sending "negative feedback" to you, rather to the post itself. You're a nice and polite person, I like that. Oh, and by the way: originally, Catwoman was "The Cat" and that was also the official battlename of the Nolanverse Selina Kyle.

I can't remember if I forgot that or never knew in the first place, but that's cool! Black cats are my spirit animal. My picture is from a 1968 Japanese movie called Kuroneko, but my name is also equal parts after the Red Dwarf character.
I'm glad we sorted that out. Cheers, I'll see ya around.

All kids love Spider-Man. That's fair. Also about Suicide Squad it has had prior to the movie existed as it's own property, running it's own series for 12 years over 5 runs since 1987, had gained feature appearances in several non-Batman TV shows, also having appeared in Superboy, Hawk & Dove and Superman comics, and feature more than just Batman villains.
Harley Quinn has had her own off and on solo series going back almost 20 years, and has appeared in 7 Non-Batman TV shows to the 4 Batman shows she has appeared in since her inception, Deadshot meanwhile has spent the almost half his time since being created being in non-Batman titles, sure Batman is the most prominent single hero's "world" Deadshot mixes with but he's more a DC villain than just a "Batman" villain, he also has appeared in multiple non-Batman related TV shows, in fact out of the 6 shows he has appeared in a Batman show only counts for 1 of them, otherwise he has appeared in Superman, Green Arrow & Flash shows as well as 2 Justice League series.
Again yes if you were to label them to a single character's franchise they would be linked to Batman, but then they are just as associated with the Suicide Squad itself which IS it's own SEPERATE IP in and of itself.
Therefor the Batman connections to claim it as "Batman" film lie in the 3 minutes of Batman screentime in the movie, less than HALF of even the briefest "cameo" of Spiderman in the ensemble MCU films.
See what I said are actual fact's and researchable information, what you say is ignorant opinion you pulled out of yah glutinous maximus you inane prattling nincompoop with the cognitive reasoning of desiccated defecant, so shuddupyahwhore.

How did you like the special where they come to our world and interact with the actors that play the characters? Also for some reason in the Early 90's my local PBS played Tom Baker Doctor Who, but never in the correct order. So from week to week you didn't know the fuck was going on.
